Learn your ingredients! Best way to choose products, is know what's in them, what each ingredient is for and what skin type it's best for!! NEVER stop learning and always choose brands that support through ongoing education on the products!!! If a product line isn't offering training online, run, and run fast!!! Quality product lines always want their skin therapists to be up to date on new information, and training!!! Also, as an Aesthetician who loves being up to date with newest info in skincare, join Association of Skincare Professionals! ASCP is one of the best resources, hands down for learning about new products and ongoing training!

This is all covered in my Thrive Esthetician Course. I give a lot of info on my channel but the real deal information about how to be a profitable business owner from my point of view isn't going to be on here.

That was so encouraging. I'm currently in school to be a full specialist. That's esthetics and nail technology together. I'm in the skin phase and these girls are not going through the book nor asking questions about anything. They just ready to graduate. Our instructor doesn't teach us anything without us having a ask her. So I read through the book and ask 100 questions a day. The girls be like girl you don't have to know that that's what Google for. Smh I want to learn.

After you are done with esthetician school, do you have a choose to work from home (like where you have people come to your house and they pay you like basically you are your own boss) or you just HAVE to work in the spa

As long as you know how to work your products the cast will not be as noticeable. The fact of the matter is Mineral SPF is best when protecting the skin its a fact. And in my treatment room I try my best to only use professional products being that in the case of a legal issue my insurance covers Professional products not store purchased.
