Welcome to the Awesome Band and songs from Boston! One of the Greatest Bands from the '70's! More than a Feeling was from their debute album. RIP Brad Delp.
Boston's debut album is legendary. Pick any song ❤ I like Piece Of Mind and Foreplay/Longtime.
RIP BRAD DELP. These guys were incredible bro. Enjoy!!¡
To those of us old enough this is now that old song they used to play!!! Takes u back!!
In the 70s there were 7 of us and our girlfriends and whenever Boston was in concert within 250 miles of us we went to the concerts. I saw them numerous times in Raleigh and Durham, NC, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta GA, Bristol TN and Nashville TN. Back then in the mid to late 70s there was no "white and black music. It was just (our) music. Our music then as now only had positive meanings. It's great to see all these podcasts finding out now what we have known for almost 50 years. And what you heard in concert was exactly what you heard on the radio, LP, or 8track. It's refreshing to see today's generation learning the positive meanings of our 60s and 70s music.
Greatest pipes of all time. Brad could hit it like no other. RIP
Brad Delp had the pipes! I don’t know far you gone into their music, but it’s worth it. Foreplay/Long Time is 🔥✌🏼
There's no such thing as a bad Boston song. Have you done Foreplay/Long Time? If you haven't, I highly recommend it.
Tom Scholtz created the brilliant sounds on this album all with guitar effects (no synthesizers used on Boston's debut). He was a beast on the guitar, a genius innovator in the studio, and with musical tech. In an era with the likes of Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Mick Taylor, David Gilmour, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Ted Nugent, Tommy Iommi, Gary Richrath, Mick Ronson, Phil Manzanera, and Neil Schon all at the peak of their powers, Tom Scholtz burst onto the scene with Boston's debut album and practically overnight was in the same conversation as all of them. He and Brad Delp created absolute magic together.
This song brings me back to growing up in the 70s and early 80s. The best music and carefree childhood. I’m so grateful 😊
Love your reaction and you’re most pleasing on the eyes. Great smile.
Basically ANY Boston song you 'stumble upon" will be well worth your time listening to. Believe me!
I'm no stranger to Boston I was a teenager in the 70's , But watching the few people that I follow that do reactions have kind of turned me on to them all over again !? I have more of an appreciation for them now then I did back then ! And I really liked Boston back in the day !
I really think you should do that entire first debut album. That along with Van Halen and a couple others are considered the most phenomenal debut albums in rock history. Meaning, that everything on them is really amazing. And that it took the rock world by storm in its time.
This entire album, first song to last is great! No filler songs. One of the all time best debut albums of all time.
Their first album is epic. Try Hitch A Ride!!!
The song is about a woman that was his uncle’s girlfriend named Maryann. Tom Sholz the guitarist was overwhelmed by her beauty when he was a teen and had a huge Crush on her.
Great song, one of the best riffs ever.
Every time I hear this song I have to remind myself that there was no pitch correction or autotune in 1976. The vocals that the mic captured are the vocals that you hear on the recording.
Saw them at the Columbus Agora my sophomore year at Ohio State for $4.00. My final time was 2007, and after 7 concerts, they are on my Mount Rushmore of rock and roll groups. Enjoy the ride
The whole album is a classic-you should listen to EVERY track-the best debut album from any band-period!! Not one bad song.
While you're visiting Boston..... "Foreplay/Long Time".... Like their album cover, a spaceship ride into the cosmos
Love it. Great song and great reaction. Thanks bro.
This may be the only piece of music that has become more than a song to me. I don't know if that makes sense, but it is beyond art, and feeling, it is just........more
I feel the same! The song truly expresses for me how I feel about music I love... it's something beyond just an emotion that's indescribable.
No song will ever capture the pain of regret like More Than a Feeling. Mournful lyrics, a lead guitar that sounds like soulful crying intertwined with thundering riffs that express both the emotions of breaking down completely and being angry with yourself for letting something happen. This song is my release for all the shit I just should not have let happen.
I get goosebumps every time I hear this song. Got to see them in concert after both their first and second albums.
I suggest "Foreplay / Long Time", "Smokin'", and "Hitch a Ride" next! 🔥🔥🔥
It's hard to remember what Boston you've already done but I've going and checking first but I would say anything off that first album that you have not already done is fantastic, laugh. But I'll tell you what. I love the fact that you called out that he already hit that spectacular sustained note at the end. But before that it goes up to what I think is in F#4, which is way high, are actually now that I think about it, he might creep up a half step into the G right above that. Unbelievable.
Most reactors watching this song live, are surprised because parts they thought was guitar notes, was actually Brad Delp's voice! He was an amazing singer. And the entire album is fantastic! czcams.com/video/t4QK8RxCAwo/video.html&pp=ygUYbW9yZSB0aGFuIGEgZmVlbGluZyBsaXZl RIP, Brad!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Recommending: “SLOW RIDE” By: Foghat
I second that.
Underrated song
You need to react to the live version. Then you can really appreciate his excellent voice and guitar playing.
Loved it. Thanks.
Man, we had badass rock songs !
Something About You and Let Me Take You Home Tonight 🔥🔥 but like everyone else has said, not a bad song 😁
Great tune
I remember years ago watching two of the best top 40 bands in town playing this song and all the people in the venue basically just became silent and watched it. In both cases, a GIRL was singing the lead vocal because NO guy could come anywhere close to singing that song in that particular key. LOL
“SLOW RIDE”BY: FOGHAT
“Life in the fast lane” BY: THE EAGLES
You should check out some Rush, they had so many good songs over the years. I suggest start with working man live in Cleveland
I love that you didn't interupt the song every 10 seconds and then start it all over again, lol.
BANGER 🔥🔥🔥 love u n Ur reaction ❤️❤️❤️
Wait To you hear some more of their other songs!
Love your reaction. Check out other 70's rock bands like Styx, Kansas, Foriegner, and The Moody Blues.
Steve Miller Band, J. Geils Band, and Jackson Browne.
The Moody Blues and the Steve Miller Band date back to the mid-sixties.
Actually, The Moody Blues released a lot of music in the 70's. One of my favorites is, The Voice.
This was recorded in Tom Shotz basement studio.
One of the greatest rock band of all time. Enjoy the ride
👍Great choice🎶❤🔥
I really enjoyed your reaction to this classic kick ass rock!
I'll make another bet..... Supertramp- "Don't Leave Me Now"... Or Lennon-Beatles - "In my Life" is coming next/soon.
"Amanda" is Boston's only #1 song... totally different than this... one of the most beautiful love songs you'll ever hear.
This is an awesome song. Check out (Long Time)
As much as I like this song...and even though it is the most well-known, I will always prefer Peace of Mind, and even more, Long Train. But you go Boston...don't listen to the haters.
Are you ready for something really special? If you please, do the Moody Blues, ‘Knights in White Satin’. The full version is a must. For this reaction, nobody will fault you for turning the lights low & kicking back in your easy chair. This haunting music will carry you away. 🪄💫

It starts at 27 sec’s in.
A Classic among classics.
Brad Delp's voice was phenomenal. His suicide was just incredibly tragic. Unfortunately Tom didn't help. Personally I think he's a jerk. And yes, I know all about his talent.
But Brad was apparently the nicest guy ever. He left notes starting in his garage about how he would be found. He sealed himself in his bathroom with 2 grills. He also had a note on him stating his name & that it was his doing.
Just heartbreaking. This song was ALWAYS playing when I was a teenager, & I still love it!
THERE'S LIVE FOOTAGE ON THIS AND IT'S
ÈVEN BETTER. HAVE FUN
Byrds..Animals..Turtles..Monkees..
Upside down guitars on the cover . Cool eh!!!!
Why are you always looking to your right? Just curious.
My camera stops recording mid reaction sometimes so I have to peek and make sure it’s still going
@@JMBOYTV I see.
