LA ILUSIÓN is a new epic skin for Qiyana that was released in September 2023. This Epic LOL skin features a brand new set of visual effects for Qiyana, as well as a total makeover of her looks.
La Ilusión Qiyana costs 1350 RP, and can be purchased from the League of Legends store. It is part of the league skins released to celebrate el Día de los Muertos.

This skin makes me want to use Qiyana. It's a small nerf to her since the visibility is toned up but the skin is so gorgeous. The Chromas really are well made and stunning.

I'm so glad to see Riot taking a chance with some Latino inspired skins. Dia de los Muertos is just a _little_ overdone as "The Latino Holiday" (there's more than just the one holiday to draw from), but I love seeing how gorgeous they made the skins for it.
The beautiful glowing flowers and candles, the adorable Calavera designs, it's all so good! Sad that Milio didn't make it in, him and his Fuemigos would have been perfect for it, but I hope they'll give us another batch with him in the future!
I’m confused is qiyana actually even Latina? Her name originates from Hausa language from Africa? where does it say if she was real she would be Latina anyway?

A lot of Latinoamerican cultures have strong African influences, especially in the countries of the Caribbean
In fact, the "latin" type of beats we know today (like reggaeton, bachata, etc) have an African basis, according to some historians anyway
@@DFavored1 I can't speak on the African influence, I don't know much at all there unfortunately, but since Ixtal seems heavily based in Mesoamerican (I think either Aztec or Mayan last I saw the discussion come up) and Central American aesthetics, and in the Music AU she is specifically called out as the "daughter of Latin music royalty," I feel like it is a safe assumption to say she's Latina

Las skins están hermosas, lo único lamentable de todas es que el croma "vívida" está en paquete POR TODOS, si quisieras solo de uno en especifico, no podrías comprarlos, que lamentable que visuales tan hermosos sean eclipsados por las últimas decisiones de riot por monetizar su juego. Te tienen obligado a comprar algo extra que no necesitas, ya no solo basta con querer y poder comprar algo en especifico :c

Personally think SFX isn't that great not enough impact, W sfx is eh. Overall i'd rate SFX 5-6/10, and her Chakram is alright 6-7/10 as well when compared to Battle Queen's. With that being said Battle Queen still her peak skin for me sadly.
Also want to say I adore your videos and editing thank you so much for peak skin close ups and reviews!
The VFX were robbed 😢, the candles vanishes too fast cuz the ult needs to be fast , I'll gave them 10/10, and yeah her skintone is like nidalee cuz both ate from Ixtal and are Toasted Latina core 😭

Everyone talking bout qiyana being Latina but her name originates from the Hausa language in Africa, translating to my hatred
I mean...Qiyana is based off Mezoamerican, Jungle/Amazonian people just look at her region's archetecture and even the name of it "Ixaocan"....she is definitely without a doubt latina but that is a cool fact about her name.

In principle, this skin looks really great... BUT: that's not Qiyana?! This girl has a completely different face?! Compare the shape with the previous skins (especially Shockblade)...that looks more like one of her 9 sisters?!
