Noida to Sasaram Road Trip | Delhi to Kolkata best route | Roving Family
We started our trip at 8:30 am from Noida and reached Sasaram at 11 pm covering 950 Kms in less than 15 hours. The route we took was:
Noida Agra Lucknow Raebareily Handia Varanasi Sasaram
Till Lucknow the drive is very smooth via Yamuna expressway and Agra Lucknow Expressway. We covered this distance of 550 kms in less than 8 hours.
After Lucknow road is 4 lane till Raebareilly and is in very good condition. From Raebareily to Prayagraj bypass road is 2 lane but in good condition since it is a tolled highway. Once on Prayagraj bypass road is 4 lane till Handia. From Handia to Varanasi bypass road is 6 lane expressway.
Varanasi onwards road is 4 lane but 6 lane widening work is on. Considering the highway condition and way side amenities, currently this is the best route for Ranchi, Kolkata and Odisha.
Note: Avoid route shown by google map via Purvanchal expressway specially in night. Ameneties are still developing on this expressway.

once kisan path(outer ring road) will be completed,one can simply switch to purvanch-agra expressway ,without going through lucknow city
That awadh chauraha can eat upto 15min ,it takes 3 red lights to pass that chauraha,very very very heavy traffic
@@rajuseth1683 ya, agreed. I took the expressway from kanpur side via mohanlalganj. So I could avoid the lights at transport ngr/airport. Though road from mohanlalganj is congested.

Maine apke video dekh k sherghati se new delhi gaya tha. September me. Apse suggestion bhi liya tha. Maine mohania se durgawati pakad kar purvanvhal pakda tha, then via, lucknow, agra then delhi, . All expressway. Bada maza aya tha.

Lucknow se sultanpur tak purvanchal expressway aur uske bad sultanpur jaunpur varanasi highway le sakte hai 3.5 hrs lagte hai, ya sidha lko sultanpur jaunpur vns highway bhi sahi hai
Next time aap raibareli se Pratapgarh se jayiga. Road bahut acchi hai aur short bhi hai rather than going to prayagraj

Nice trip Raviji. What checks you perform on the vehicle before you take up long journey? Do you get it checked by mech or check yourself? What make of tyres deployed and how has been their performance? As do you long trips, do you wait until completion of 10k KM or service/change Engine oil before 10K KM?

Change them every 50,000 kms
Checks before trip: tyre condition, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, radiator condition by myself
Service: after every 10,000 to 12,000 kms

Kanpur to prayagraj bypass road is disturbed due to widening work going on. Otherwise I prefer that route over lucknow route.

All the destinations are good to travel in Nov dec. You can go to Jaisalmer and try spending a night under open sky in thar desert. Many tour agencies are there near Jaisalmer fort who arrange this type of expedition.
Meghalaya is also a good option. Weather will be pleasant with lots of greenery and breathtaking views.

Any info would be helpful
You can drive anywhere in India. If you want to keep the car in a different state for more than 1 month you will have to get it registered there. In southern states police is more strict regarding this.
However in NCR things are little different, cars of almost all the states are available and in general police will not disturb you for keeping an outside vehicle.

@Roving Family cruise control is a very useful feature that I realised on my last trip from Ranchi to Faridabad. I own a VW GT TSI.

I avoid such dhaabas frequented by truck drivers as I am concerned about the food hygiene, family safety and washroom facilities. You seem to have good experience with such dhaabas
