Whenever I listen to this, I imagine myself as Rogan standing in front of Magician, ready to kill or get killed!
Finally an actual good rip of the arcade version's soundtrack. Love the saturn version and it's still my favorite of the two but the arcade soundtrack gets very close to it and still slaps.

Hardware: Crispy and normal
Original arcade version at 0:33 sounds arcade like, emulator version sounds more like squeaky pet toy being ravaged.

the most noticeable changes for me in terms of sound between the emulator and actual hardware are present in
revenge
the house of the dead
boss theme
magician theme
chapter clear
on the other tracks the differences were negligible but on the mentioned ones you can really hear the changes. on revenge and magician theme the most iconic parts sound completely different. on the boss fight theme, chapter clear, and final stage music (eponymous), the changes are much more reserved but are still noticeable
Great stuff this gets the heart pumping the long journey is about to end and one magician stands in the way.

I wonder how the Magician would work in other Zombie games like Resident Evil or Telltale Walking Dead.
The Magician would probably absolutley slaughter everyone in The Walking Dead without mercy, and Leon would probably fail the mission because Ashley died, or because he was massacred by the Magician.
@GreatGamerspheanx Leon has the fire power to take him down but the Magician is just crazy fast.

This is the best version of Magician's theme in my opinion. The instruments used on this one were simply better.
The one on saturn and hod2 sounds similar but not that great.

The guitar riff just feels very tame compared to the arcade instruments, even if the sound quality is worse on the arcade hardware.
The sounds on the arcade feel like it was made with organ instrument like that of funerals and I personally love that.
