Agreed. Haters don't really hate the person they hate on. In fact, they hate themselves and that person just happens to be a reflection of what they wish to be.
It's hilarious that these kind of "grown" people advertise their intense levels of insecurity and immaturity for the world to see. They're almost too sad to be upset by.

That’s Ronnie’s girlfriend Saraya, or Paige from WWE.
This is a remake of their song from 10 years ago.
He looks airbrushed because they covered up all his tattoos, including those on his face.
Obviously, the vampire trope is a metaphor for his addiction.
It was intentionally campy. Obviously.
The most accurate thing you said was that Ronnie delivered vocally. And that Black Sabbath is dad rock.

I was ready for this to be a great reaction. I wouldn’t have been bothered if you just didn’t like it. It was the endless shit talking from the beginning making it obvious that you never gave any of it an honest ear. It’s your channel, so you do you, but if you go into every new song or band like this, I can’t imagine too many people are going to hang around. If you’re even concerned about that.
If you plan on checking out something else by them, you should react to Popular Monster. And maybe actually go into it without all the bullshit this time 🖤

But yeah, this style of "metal" is not at all my cup of tea. Usually, I have a rule of thumb to not trash underground bands, (people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones), but Ronnie Radke has not been "underground" in decades. I get why people enjoy this, but there is almost nothing about this that I find good (seriously, Ronnie's vocal delivery showed growth and such and thats cool).
All in all, we had fun. And Falling In Reverse will get CZcams ad revenue from all their fans coming to this video and telling me I'm an idiot.

The dislike ratio doesn't matter. Disliking a CZcams video counts as "engagement", so every time someone dislikes my video, CZcams expands my reach to more and more people.

At no point was this song, or it's original, intended to be metal. The original would be pop/punk - post hardcore.
If you want to check out Ronnie's metal, try: Die For You, Self Destruct Personality, The Guillotine IV, Popular Monster (sort of) - these are all metalcore/melodic metalcore with big heavy breakdowns (Popular Monster has a big drop D breakdown). There are a lot of older fans of Ronnie/Falling in Reverse. As a long time black metal (old school) and metalcore fan, if you actually get into Ronnie's metal songs you will be impressed.
I'm actually interested in listening to the original version of this song to see how different it is.
I remember having friends into FIR and ETF back when, I wasn't into them back then. But there's been a bunch of bands that I used to hate that I like now. So who knows!

@@JoshThieler you're welcome. please let me know how you go. Ronnie has infused rap with a lot of his recent songs, but the metal parts of the songs have either creative or heavy breakdowns. Popular Monster or Losing my Life are good examples of these and both have decent screams. Drugs has a decent breakdown with Corey Taylor coming in for a cameo on the screams. So, I recommend the songs in the earlier comment, and also worth checking out: Born to Lead has a decent breakdown, dragonforce style guitar solo, good screams - but like with many of Ronnie's songs, they're infused with pop/punk choruses. Similarly, The Bitter End and Champion. But there might be some stuff in there you might enjoy. I do, and I started with Immortal, Satyricon, Dark Throne, early CoF, Emperor, early Abigor etc.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion so i won’t go much into that. However, if you go into another Falling In Reverse song expecting a “Metal” song then you’re setting yourselves up for disappointment.

I mean, yeah. I've heard FIR back when they first came out and wasn't a fan. Hadn't heard this new version of the song, so I didn't know if I'd like it or not. Vocally, it seems like Ronnie has grown a lot in the last 10 years. But other than that, I still don't like this.

@@itz_thrasherr_9965 Ronnie has been close to the top of the pile for a long time. He is good at marketing himself, they are good performers, and they write a style of music that is catchy and more easily digestible to a broader audience.
I can't be mad at him about that. He and I want different things out of music and we choose different ways to get what we want.
Things like Escape the Fate and Falling In Reverse a lot of times act as gateways to expose people to different and more aggressive styles of music. So bands like that are necessary for the health of the underground.
He's doing exactly what he needs/wants to do and he is successful. I'm happy for anyone that can make money doing what they love.
I don't hate him at all, I just don't like his music or this music video at all and I find it hilarious.

Black Sabbath were not the "founders". They were one of three main bands all founded in 1968 (Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple) that popularized the musical style and aesthetic that would become heavy metal.
Bands like Blue Cheer (1966) and Coven (1967) were doing the same things earlier, but all of that was just a co-opt of many, many blues artists and what they were already doing decades before.
And the "new metal generation", I've been a huge fan of metal for over 30 years and actively contributing to the metal community as an artist, musician, label owner, music critic, show promoter and more for the last 20 years.

Wow. I couldn't even make it halfway through this video. You guys are obviously clueless when it comes to music and lyrics. This is a reaction to the music video, not the song or FIR at all. Most people that watch this video are watching because they are fans of Ronnie's music and not only are you making fun of this song but also all of those fans. Think about what you are doing before you do it or this channel is going to go nowhere. Honestly this is the first video I have ever "disliked" on CZcams. This made me realize why there is a dislike button in the first place. Not only are you disrespecting Ronnie and his fans, you are making fun of all people with problems with addiction (which is what this song is about because you couldn't figure that out on your own), how thoughtless and selfish. I'm normally not one to leave comments but this video took it too far.

FYI: "dislikes" only help the video you are disliking to be exposed to more people. CZcams is not reddit, where you can downvote something enough that it disappears. Disliking on YT counts as "engagement" so the CZcams algorithm then pushes the video you disliked to more people.

My friend Colin knows nothing about about metal or its various subgenres, so I'm just going down a list of some bigger names and suggestions from friends or comments on our videos. I don't know what he's going to like or not.

I certainly didn't say no one likes this. I understand that this is much more popular and financially successful than I will ever be in music. I'm certainly not mad at him for that.

Things I can say about Ronnie Radke with the small amount of things I've seen from him over the last however many years, while I don't find his music enjoyable in any way:
He's an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights (heck yes)
He fought to kick addiction and seems to work to help other people in their own journeys (Yes!)
He's super smart with his music and makes content that acts as a lightning rod (equally hated and loved by large groups of people)
He's a great performer
I have no problem reacting and having fun, and I will happily accept anything that FIR fans have to say to me. But I do NOT want anyone to think that just because I find his musical laughable, that I do not have great respect for the things listed above.
