Cinematography, design and costumes look incredible.
Well, a lot of it is cgi so I am not sure about the cinematography. You don't exactly film digital information.
@@utubesuxalotofazz yet avatar won best cinematography at the oscars so i think this can also be concidered cinematography
wow what a deep and analytical comment…shut up normie
It’s like a combination of the cinematography on The Favourite combined with a Tim Burton meets Wes Anderson design esthetic.
font is pretty trash though
You already know this gonna be good.
👍
Nice
Good job
Very great 👍
Wow
Yorgos Lanthimos back with something that looks totally unique. I can't wait
Unique, Absurd, Surreal, Weird, Gorgeous. All encapsulated in this teaser. Yorgos Lanthimos trully amped his style to 11 with this one.
You mean unique by ripping off about 90% of Tim Burton, right?

Have You, Jonathan Bachman; Seen this film yet,?.. 😐😐😐
@@drumbum3.142 Yes, i mean we are talking about Yorgos Lanthimos. The Favourite is already a trippy period comedy drama and Yorgos wonders what if he brings that trippyness into adaptation of Poor Things. According to the teaser, very very trippy.
Lanthimos has made a remarkable style evolution. From geometric and aseptic to baroque and lively. From Kubrick to Gilliam with no middle ground
Nice to see a fellow men of culture here.
Is Roy Andersson next?

I'm so glad that filmmakers still make bizarre and wonderful films like this!!
always have
Nice to see Emma Stone back. I know she's mostly drop off the projects and spends more time with her new family, but I really miss her sometimes on screen.
She have other Lanthimos production title 'And' and a 'Cruella' sequel in the near future
She was just in Cruella which was a 2021 release. 2 or 3 years gap isn't an abnormal absence in Hollywood anymore. She also co-produced her friend Jesse Eisenberg's directorial debut with A24. But ya I mean it's normal for most mothers to want to spend more time with their new born kids at least for the first 3 or 4 formative years cuz they won't get that time back again before work becomes their focus again.
@@nikitamohan3390I was gonna say wasn’t Cruella like 2 years ago? 😂 I prefer actors I love to take time making something special rather showing up in 3 films a year.
@@randomrecipes5007 ya i thought 2021 initially but it felt like really early covid time cuz i saw cruella in a mostly empty theater
Like other said. Cruella just came out two years ago. Oh, and the whole Covid things put every projects on timeout, and now we have Hollywood writers strike too. So, expect her to be in a lot less stuff for while.
OMG This looks so bizarre but in the good way. Emma is killing it again!
when it's a Yorgos Lanthimos movie , you know it's gonna be good

@@Antyoksydantka85 woof! I didn’t see it yet. Is it that raunchy?
Looks like a mixed tone of Guillermo del Toro's and Terry Gilliam's imagination. Can't wait !!!
Literally Tim Burton. Like 90%.
And a bit of Wes Anderson's vivid color pallete. Adds Yorgos Lanthimos's weird and trippyness, we get a one hell of a ride coming.
Karel Zeman also came to mind
totally Gilliamesque
i would replace del Toro with Jean-Pierre Jeunet, but yeah, i get your point.
Robbie Ryan is about to get his well-deserved due. I've been a fan of his since 'Fish Tank' & I'm so happy that someone like Yorgos understands he's one of the greatest cinematographers ever. All you have to do is watch 'American Honey', and then 'I, Daniel Blake', in order to realize he can do anything. He's getting the Oscar & and it couldn't go to a better human & artist
ok
Yorgos Lanthimos is a cinematic maestro who wields the camera like a conductor's baton, leading audiences on a wild and unforgettable journey through the depths of the human psyche. His films are like a twisted, absurdist funhouse mirror, reflecting back the absurdities and contradictions of modern life in a way that is both hilarious and terrifying. With a razor-sharp wit and an unapologetic eye for the grotesque, Lanthimos has carved out a unique and indelible place in the pantheon of modern cinema.
Yea but he could never create

In case no one has mentioned it, this is an adaption of a book by Alasdair Gray. Not sure if the director has ever done an adaptation before, but it looks awesome!
A bloody good novel; thanks for mentioning it.
Of course the director won't mention it...since he copied all of his movies from other movies with out giving ANY credit
@@olya1195 and none complained, none even noticed! :D
whoever decided to give yorgos lanthimos a big ass budget: THANK YOU
trailer music honestly goes hard.
hope the whole soundtrack is like that.
Yorgos is easily one of the most exciting directors making movies today
Emma Stone is the queen of Hollywood , she was always the most talented young actress , her facial expressions are the best in the acting industry , she kills it in every performance especially in Cruella , i got so disappointed that she didn't get nominated for an Oscar for best actress in Cruella , she killed it in Cruella , even if the Oscar started to give nominations in term of diversity and popularity Emma Stone will always be my winner
The trailer's looking amazing man... The costumes, cinematography is perfect. Ngl Just having Emma Stone is enough for me to watch the movie ❤️
He is a very singular director and i like that about him
This looks really interesting. Amazing art direction. I’m excited. Yorgos is a sublime filmmaker.
ok
In the words of Benoit Blanc, "It makes no goddamn sense. Compels me though."
Bella makes her own life perfection with her experiments in many experiences during exploration. Awesome acting of Emma Stone...
This Is why cinema Is called the 7th art. Enourmous Lanthimos 👏🏻
Idk what it is but the music for this trailer is so dope! I hope someone can identify it if its not from the movie's soundtrack.
Yes please!! I really liked the music too!
Emma Stone - Giorgos Lathinmos = success , and hope the road for Oscar
cannot wait to see what yorgos can do with Alasdair Gray's work! one of my fave directors blended with one of my fave authors - can't wait!!
I’ve seen this. I will be quoting the line “I must go and punch that baby” a lot.
One of the most breathtaking trailers I've seen recently. The visuals and the sound are so satisfying and extraordinary. I loved The Lobster, AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS !!

What do you mean “finally”? I swear I always see people say this and yet I never see trailers that spoil the movie, ever.
@Visuals For You first of all, there are definitely a lot of trailers that spoil films. But second of all you're right that these people complain about this way too frequently. Most people that complain forget and don't even end up watching and supporting the movie lmao
