Somehow just heard this song for the first time. Immediately made me want to make the 3 hour drive to visit my mother's grave. She battled Lewy Body Dementia for 7 years before she passed in 2021. She couldn't speak much in her final days, but when she did she talked about "going home". Her final words became her eternal truth. She is now HOME in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Just heard this song on tik tok. About to finish up my final deployment in the military. And this song just hits different really makes me miss my wife! Thanks for an i credible song

These guys are absolutely amazing! Saw them the other day at Kane Brown’s concert. They were really great during the amount of time they opened for Kane and especially when Kane brought them back out during his show to sing this song. Was overall absolutely amazing! Definitely a fan of these guys!!

Country roads was one of my first introductions to country music as a child. I can still remember the first time I heard it on a long 13 hour drive home. It was at a time in my life when I was starting to develop my own taste in music and step away from I heard on the radio. It was around this time that music started creating memories of times, places and emotions throughout my life. Not every song that I like does this for me but Country Roads was definitely one of them.
Usually I never notice the office music but, today was different. I just heard this for the firs time today. Looking through the comments below I see a bunch of opinions that will differ from my own as is usually the case with music. I was disappointed with this song, so much so that I am worried this song will impact the way I listen to John Denver's song in the future. I hope I am wrong but, I doubt it. I can be a bit of a pansy when it comes to music :). Listening to this song was like tearing out a little part of my soul. I didn't hate the song but, hate and a sense of betrayal were the emotions I felt. I appreciate the Denver family for allowing another artist to sample John's work. I am sorry to say that I wish they never had.
I don't usually leave comments and I am always terrible at expressing myself but, I couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of the day. I guess that is what music is supposed to do.
