This 1988 Subaru Loyale was due to be parted out and scrapped. But I couldnt let that happen. Lets see if we can get this car which has some possible rally heritage back on the road.
That thing needs a ton of work, I'd put the interior back together properly, give it a tune up, a Bluetooth sound system, the factory steering wheel with airbag, new tires and such
It'll get its door cards back on when I get the locking mechanism fixed till then I'm not going to bother. The steering wheel is being replaced by a better detachable one. No airbags in 88 on these. Tires will come along eventually Honestly not concerned about much with it, it runs good drives good. 4wd works great (video on that soon) Everything else is secondary and not a priority till spring
love old subarus! these things sadly rusted out where I live so you barely see them anymore.
They rusted out here in Ohio too really bad. But this one for some reason didn't

I've been dailying it since I got it right(mild spoilers), its a stellar little car.
In Australia they were sold as a Subaru Leone and the ute was called a brumby
