I just finished Divine Rivals like 30 minutes ago and I haven’t had a solid 5 star yet this year but I absolutely loved it. Definitely made me cry but so worth it and I’m excited for the next book 🖤
Totally get what you mean about Serpent. I felt confused at the end of Serpent and the beginning of Ashes for the same reason. Like I know what is supposed to be happening, but it felt like the emotions of the main characters were not quite matching the reality if that makes sense lol

In June I read Yona of the Dawn 10, 11, 12, & 13, Witch Hat Atelier 6, 7, 8, & 9, The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Dawn of the Arcana Volume 1,2, 3, & 4, The King’s Beast Volume 1, 2, 3, & 4, Crave, Fourth Wing, My Neighbor Totoro, re-read Fruits Basket Collector’s Edition 1, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku, Vol 1, and The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea. I have heard of Beyond the Clouds and it sounds good and I tried reading Half A Soul unfortunately couldn't get into it. Hope you have a great July reading month. My goals is pretty short for July but hoping to read my library books that I borrowed before their due and then work on my physical tbr after that.

I loved that book so much I also spent an ungodly amount on the fairyloot one 😭 I also loved half a soul. The second one I didn’t really like tho but the first one was so good
