I was sitting in a hotel lounge back in the late summer of 1981and a small band was playing there from Youngstown, Ohio. The lead singer was a young lady who sang this song and she did it beautifully. I never forgot that even though it was well over forty years ago. I wonder where she is today.

An endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower
And you, its only seed

That never learns to dance
It's the dream, afraid of waking
That never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
