:((((
Yes
Yep they had to drop this lol
Texas Rangers: We were bad… and now we are the worst atleast we have an extremes.
SHUSH
Great video. Mlb should produce more content like this.
Every team was. It was a trade deadline.
Unless you are the Astros and Seattle in which case you just walk them across the field to their new Dugout's before the game starts.
Take batting practice as an Astro, talk to coach, take batting practice as a Mariner. Who went and got his stuff?
Seattle has done that multiple times. I remember Ichiro was traded to the Yankees when the Mariners and Yankees were playing each other too.
@@brianhalligan9268 What's up with that? Do the Mariners not want to pay for travel?
@@bossvonbosserson781 I would not be surprised. It's very on brand for them.
which game was this?
Nobody asked for this video. Everyone is thankful for this video. It had the vibes of THIS WEEK IN BASEBALL ON FOX.
Imagine how Edwin Jackson feels
You can literally HATE a player one day and LOVE him the next! Then you can LOVE a FAVORITE player one day and HATE your general manager the next!!!
yep
the second is literally every cubs fans now
YESSS!!! I love baseball. BASEBALL!!!!! Love it!
@@rafax1158 for real
Not really
After watching this it makes you think how hard it would have been for blue jays players
Especially international/third-country ones having to get used to living in the United States (as opposed to Canada) and not just visiting 81 days per year.
I always love seeing the human side of baseball. We too often look at stats and analytics without remembering they're people with lives and families
They make millions to do a job. That job is baseball, we don't care about their families or feelings. We care only about winning.
@@SpookyMulder2022 and that’s a very sad way to look at people
@@SpookyMulder2022 I do am jealous about their earnings, yes ... but they ARE humans. They feel sorrow just like everyone else, and leaving your favorite city where you started a family, maybe have all your friends, for being traded to another team you don't feel anything about, is emotionally cruel. No matter how much you earn.
@@doppelplusungutmensch1141 they go in knowing that baseball is a business. When it happens, it should be expected. Being a professional means you carry several bags. Man up, and be professional and keep personal feelings at home. It's a job and should be treated as one.
@@SpookyMulder2022 That doesn't change a little bit of what I was talking about.
I was in tears when i saw willy adames was traded to the brewers you really cant replace his smile and heart he has such a good personality
It's great that you're making informative videos like this now. I've always wanted to see what happens behind the scenes for players moving from one team to another mid-season
Trade deadline is the craziest part of baseball!
KRIS BRYANT IS A GIANT!!!!!! Dodgers, Padres, and Giants gonna be battling it out for sure
Padres not a chance but dodgers giants gonna be good considering dodgers got their stars back next week. Seager today! And an mvp on the giants and Crawford back
@@emiliomartinez2962 Gonna be a race to the finish
Hehe dodgers get trea turner and max scherzer j cant wait for this battle
@@emiliomartinez2962 padres not a chance? K dude
@@jimbopoppin3152 they wont even make it to 2nd place i can tell you that lmao
I needed this now make a video on how they get paid
I was hoping they'd answer that question. More interested in that part
Commenting to say I agree. Hoping they see this.
With US dollars. Teams are in low/mid/high markets and this determines cash on hand, the more you fill the stadiums and sell merchandise the higher you climb in market value. The rich get richer just like in real life. It's all simple really.
They get payed every week, the bigger ur contract is the more u get payed a week. I think a 300 mil contract u get payed 10k a week idk maybe more, But in the off seasons u don’t get payed AT ALL j learned this from “Matt Antonelli” on CZcams he is a ex player that came up with the padres

Keep it going with more quick question videos!
I LOVE this vid series. KEEP IT COMING MLB!!!
Love this series! Keep it going!
0:43 what a transition.
literally cried over losing all these cubs players. guess I'm a giants fan now
Same
Let’s go KB
Lol ur team traded players to like 4 teams and u pick the one with the best record🤡
Oof.. I am a Dutch baseball fan not especially rooting for 1 specific team, but man I feel bad for the Cubs fans today. Big Rizz is one of their iconic players of the last 10 years and a great personality to have in a team. Must have been rough on him, the team and the fans!
Pretty good video thanks Mlb!
Nice informative vid. Moving after Trade is so hectic but looks exciting too
Quick question: why is my depression continuing to develop as all of my favorite players are being traded?
Same
@Max Wu both but favorite team is Cleveland… probably not anymore
@Max Wu Nats. It hurts
Same question bro
@Max Wu agreed
I know it doesn't matter much, but as a stl native, thanks for picking the cards for this video lol
The title of this video should be called: The daily life of an Oakland Athletics player
Why?
The trade deadline this year was on my birthday. And all these people being traded on my birthday was crazy. Especially scherzer and turner since they went to my favorite team.
Interesting, nice video MLB!
Horrible times to be a Nationals or Cubs fan.
I feel for you guys.

They always show the clip of Flores in these and he wasn't traded that night after all. Actually did a couple more years in NY.
Finally the answered the question I have been wondering
Max Scherzer to the Dodgers damn!

Is there a significance to the date of the Trade deadline; why that date?

DUVALL IS BACK AT THE A
Awesome video
Very interesting.
Amazing vid
She called it jif instead of gif, ring the alarm bells
I'm a new baseball fan, has there been an instance where a player was traded to a team that they were playing against, and actually make them change uniforms and dugout during the game?
I had got traded once from the Pontiac Michigan bobcats to the Grand Rapids express back when I played independent semi-pro baseball
That is such a backwards system. At least give the players a bit of assistance with locating a suitable house.
we want more QUICK QUESTION contents!!!!!
Come on man, first Berrios to the Blue Jays, and now Kimbrel to the White Sox
people are laughing at the jays right now tho.
@@red3here addressed a need and didn’t give up an all star

"We play boatloads of money to baseball players to essentially play a kid's game. And, in exchange, we get the power to uproot them, and their families, so they can play a kid's game, for boatloads of money, somewhere else. And, after a few years, thanks to collective bargaining, they can become free agents. And then they can decide to uproot their families, for boatloads of money, themselves. That's how it works." - Padres GM in the FOX television series "Pitch"
still the best serie ever.
Once I had a nightmare about Trea and max being traded in bulk, no joke (I’m a nats fan)
i’m so sorry
I really don’t get this trading system, in football (soccer), its selling and buying, and the player has a lot of say in it from what I know, seeing this video, it seems that trades are all up to the teams?
Yeah, trades are negotiated between teams and approved by the league front office
As a white Sox fan seeing that of all tweets for trades they did the one where we traded Tatis
I love that you interviewed Hunter Pence. He will always be a forever Giant. Nothing but respect from everyone who knows him.
When they mentioned the dugout to dugout my thoughts go immediately to Kendall Graveman. Best of luck with that stupid organization buddy.
Lol mad?
3:20 POV: Vegas to 🌸
As a cubs fan rn,im really having the worst day ever
Thanks for joc bro
Nats too. I feel your pain bro
very fitting
7:23 wait...... *_WHAT!!!_*
Wait, what about a player getting traded from the Mets to the Yankees or Dodgers to the Angels?
I'm a Cubs fan and we had a player get traded to the White Sox this most recent trade deadline.
Welcome back MLB! Can we get a Quick Question about the lockout?
They go to a different team… ?
Turner and Scherzer go to Dodgers
I'm sick to my stomach
People need to understand it’s a business and sometimes business is not fair
Gibson to red sox
The fans will change their feelings on not just a player, but the team's chances. Trades are coming fast and surprising.
As a fan you remember the great ones and the poor ones. You forget the ones in between. O's fan like myself remember the Glenn Davis trade. AWFUL. Gave up Schilling, Finley and Harnish and got a major dud.
21 years in the Military. I was "traded" every 3 years for a lot less money. Problem here?
Imagine if the Reds traded Amir Garrett to the Pirates 😯
Subtitles? No?:(
Does anyone think the narrator for these videos is going to be traded any time soon?
Aren't there cases where some players don't live in the city they play for?
How? They play almost every day, 162 games in approximately 183 days. Not much time to travel.
Okay, to clarify, they may have apartments in the team city, for home games, and live elsewhere in the off season. For road games, the teams pay for hotel rooms.
All that’s missing in this video is the narrator saying she’s been traded.
Hi mlb
They play for a different team? 🤷
Why would anybody trade the great Ted Williams for Joe Dimaggio?
Thx for all the memories Max, you lovable psycho.
And the Chris Sale trade
Anyone get this on a ad and watched the whole video 😂
They go from one team to another team
Follow the money.
Cardinals finally got pitching
Only real ones know watching Wilmer get traded mid game and the disbelief that he was leaving new york
So they couldn’t just earn money through revenue from ticket sales to buy a new fence or a new team bus back in the day?
They sit in front of a fast food restaurant for 40 minutes.
I guess they forget about the loyalty bs 🤔, sad for some of them
Loyalty means nothing now especially when you're on a small market team that doesn't have the money to pay you a ridiculous salary I'll tell you you're going to have a billion dollar player before too long and I'm going to laugh
No no Nanette 😂
They enter a void and have to answer 3 riddles from the Trade Troll. Then they go to the new team.
Ja happ only has to walk to the other dugout
Cool
Love the picture of max being in no trade clause lol
has it ever happend a player got traded to a team they were either playing that day or the next day? that would be funny
I actually think it has happened once if I'm not mistaken..roughly 12-15 yrs ago?
That just happened with Abraham Toro in the Astros/Mariners trade. He hit a homer on the Astros and literally homered again the next day against the Astros as a Mariner lol
damn so stanton could’ve gone to sf
What are the Dodgers going to do with ss position now lol
I would imagine they would move taylor somewhere else on the field or have him as a backup? Idk
@@nickadkins7765 yeah but honestly I wouldn’t be sad if we got rid of Lux lol
Hi
Hello
So players don't make money from trades? Unlike European soccer transfers. So only as a free agent you can negotiate a new contract? Players don't benefit from trades and waivers?
In "European soccer transfers" too players don't make money. That's transfer fees not salary paycheck contract. Transfer fees are buy-out clause entered by the owner club to restrict free purchase of players like it happens in American sports.
They burn the American flag ?
They usually fade and the previous team is glad they dumped them
Tell that to the Dodgers after they traded Pedro Martinez
I misclick and ended up watching the video
Deja vu....

Boohoo, the minimum salary in the Major Leagues is 570.5 thousand U.S. dollars annually, I could find a way!
How is this an official MLB video and they’re using the old brewers logo?
It's the old Marlins logo too.
