I just stumbled over your channel and I'm pissed off because the YT algorithms has hidden your channel from me all these years.
Excellent footage, thank you for sharing.

@etikkboksen - thank you so much, I am glad we could connect. I have lot more to post from Yellowstone.
The one raven looks like a lookout, went up where the bear was then flew down and told the wolf. Lol little sneaky bastard
They are thieves - I had one steal a piece of gear too one day.
I am guessing the bear wanted to be certain there were not other wolves about. Well done.
Thank you so much, I read every comment and do appreciate them.
Looks like wolf and a coyote are smarter than some humans
@@christinerose4839 Agreed Ms. Rose. Add the "jackal" to that list and about a thousand other animal species. Ha. Ha. Thanks for the note.
It always amazes me how these animals maneuver their terrain so effortlessly you could never outrun one 💀
JIm - I think about that all the time. One winter a friend told me. Let's drive down the road about 15 miles and we will see the wolves come up over a ridge and down to this gully. He was right and we in a car made it there only minutes ahead of the wolves. The distance and terrain didn't even phase them.
@@Yellowstonewolves I set up on some mustangs at Theodore who miles away went a couple hundred yards to set up an they were already there moment experiences you can’t capture with a camera
If you're with someone you don't have to outrun the animal. Just the person you're with. 😂
@@seanmc7128 Good point but the people I was with were not expendable so I need them too.
I use to track for one of the biggest most famous guide services in the world. So.... there is no sense trying to run from a bear... they can run about 35mph give or take. And they can do this like forever.. umm just as fast up hill that they can go down hill. So
Excellent video, thanks for sharing it, its always interesting to see a wolf and bear interaction. Usually the bear wins, but not always.
Thank you so much - much more to post too. Thank you for watching and commenting.
The wolf has to wolf that down before the bear bears down on him.
Great job on that one. Nice work!
Love all your videos! Thank you! Very relaxing to watch! 🦬🐻
Thank you Marcie! Really do appreciate that.
A coyote, wolf, grizzly bear, and ravens.. What a great idea for an animated series.
And a great bar joke too.
bro forgot he was a bear for a second ...
Ez egy háború mentes lakoma volt.✌️🐻🐺 ❤️
Nagyon igaz editkiss. Van egy másik videóm is, amelyen néhány farkas látható, amint bölényborjak után mennek. Elképesztő látni, milyen erősek a bölények.

Thank You Sír! ( Nagyon szépen köszönöm)!
Kedvelem a videóikat, original természetközeli felvételek, páratlan élményt nyújtanak számomra.☺️
Nagyon örülök, hogy tetszenek. Gyere el Yellowstone-ba egy nap, amikor csak teheted.
i enjoyed this very much..i didn't think the bear would give up
Thank you Jody! I just posted a new video czcams.com/video/ZFPtRxkZ-0E/video.html "The War Continues" this time Wolf-vs-Grizzly this one was fun to watch so I shortened it down for others to watch in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you again for commenting too!
Interesting to see a lone wolf like that, pretty much a brave, hungry beast. You've got some great footage on these vids! Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do! Sometimes these critters are really hard to catch. I use to look at the landscape, then I use to try to see various animals, now I try to find behaviors. I have never seen a Cougar or Wolverine yet out there.
The Ravens are like... whatever lets just dine in.
No kidding - ya all go fight for a few minutes.
Nice game of tic. Bear kept getting to base.
True. Sure looks that way.
What a spectacular interaction!!
I knew "my boy" would come out on top😂👍❤.. coulda been a different story, tho, if more than one wolf.. and if wolves were young or not and their "dominance" level.
God, I love these videos! ❤❤
I am glad you do Mountiangirl - I have many more to post too.
@@Yellowstonewolves Woo Woo !! 👍
Cool video
Perfect job.
Thank you so much! Very much appreciated.
1:18 wonder what did the bird tell the bear!
He said "you look like a chicken, go get him you're a grizzly" Thank you for commenting
The grizzly finally had enough.🤣
No kidding - he got to the point where he realized the wolf friends were not coming.
They all hungry…👍🏼🤩
Very true. Thank you again my friend.
If a cougar showed up that wolf would have took off immediately. Cougars dominate lone wolves with ease.
I can't wait, I have looked for cougars (cat wise) all the time and have never seen one in the park. I hope someday I do. Thank you for commenting!
@@Yellowstonewolves There may not be very many in that area. I have never been to Yellowstone, and can't even recall any visitors reporting any sightings. Most people seem to see more bears, bison and wolves. The big cats, if they are there would tend to be more elusive than the other animals.
Sadly, the ancestors of the people in my area to the east, were so fearful of the mountain lions, that they were hunted to extinction. People have reported seeing them in New England and surrounding states, but wildlife authorities insist that there are no existing populations of them. If one is seen, it is most likely a male that has wandered 1500 miles or more in search of a territory of his own. He may find plentiful food, but he will never find a female in these states, because females do not wander that far, nor do they need to.
I have spent most of my 66 years in the rural areas of Western Massachusetts. I have seen and encountered a good amount of wildlife here including black bear, deer, moose, coyote, fox and all sorts of smaller critters. But even though they say bobcats are plentiful in pretty much every state, i have only seen one of those in the wild. All felines tend to be elusive and loners throughout most of their lives. And they have probably seen me out in the woods many times where i never knew they were there. Anyway, i do hope that you will see a cougar and have the chance to film it in one of your future videos. You do provide great content. New subscriber here.
Well others have spotted one now and then. I saw prints of one where I was standing the next morning and yet they are elusive. I will find one someday.
@@Yellowstonewolves I am sure you will. Good luck and have a great weekend!
thank you
I’m willing to bet that’s a 125lb wolf. The Grizzly is marginally bigger.
Probably was a young grizzly.
The Grizzly is easily twice the weight if not more. Certainly a young Grizzly
Courageous wolf. I think he backed down because he had his fill though. He probably thought it was not worth the effort to fight and risk injuries. If it was not for that I think he would have run off the bear. Before anyone says it, technically yes the bear is bigger as a much higher chance of winning a fight but in the wild animals don't think like us. For predators especially it's a risk and reward kind of thing. Most animals don't have medicine or hands like us to deal with infections and parasites. So that's why you see even big animals run away from smaller bolder guys. Better to not get injured and find a meal elsewhere than stay, fight, gets some scratches, and risk whatever infection.
@loupblanc7944 I think you are spot on. A bad injury can spell death for them. Thank you for posting this too.
WOlf has zero chane against a grizly even wolf pack backs down to prime grizly
Maybe it should have tried to "snap up" one of those big birds, which would have been fresher (LOL)!
That is a good point and I don't think I have ever seen on grab a bird. A friend has a video on one I really want to post too. I keep asking for it.
@@Yellowstonewolves Thanks!
That's mutual respect😅
When I saw the wolf retreat I thought for sure that he was going to come back later in the video with a gun.
He went to get friends. He will be back.
It suits the ravens (and an eagle in the previous clip) for these larger mammals to be haggling over the remains, they can keep on scavenging. The bear and wolf act out quite a chess game, they definitely are strategic thinkers
As in the video with the black bear, this had likely been a young grizzly.
I think you are right - this one is young too. Thank you for commenting and watching.
This grizzly looks closer to the last black bears size. Did all the animals get a decent portion? Or did the 1st grizzly take the majority
This was a different kill. New kill, new bears. I think, of course one would never know for sure.
Your AI needs an upgrade. It's backs down not backdowns
Thank you for the feedback I missed that in the text.
@@Yellowstonewolves Do u use AI ?
@@Yellowstonewolves Who uses AI?
@@chairlesnicol672 I don't use AI. Not sure how or what I would use it for. All of my bears are real.
@@chairlesnicol672 I think she mean my spell check in Premier Pro. I didn't catch that typo. - PS I typed this comment and no ChatGPT was used.
Interesting to see how animals can see that another one is young and inexperienced. Even the Coyote tested that young bear, half expecting to be able to chase it away,
I’m guessing he’s not a mature and experienced grizzly … yet !
You are probably right. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
Love this stuff....
35+ years hiking and climbing Glacier Park, I saw a lot. Never tire of it.
Nice capture
Thank you so much Jerry!
That Grizzly seemed to have a strategy, and the wolf was thrown off by the sudden changes in aggression.
I agree, both went the bluff charge route until the wolf thought the grizzly might be serious.
I dont think the bear knows it can kill the wolf with one swipe lmao
Prawa natury, silniejszy wygrywa. Rozbawiła mnie scenka wzajemnego przeganiana się z wilkiem 😀

Young grizzly?
Noreen I really do think so.
bears are so huge but cowards
No one wants to suffer a major wound if they can avoid it.
yeah but wolf is much smaller, if bear didn't stop, the wolf would have run away, do you imagine lion or tiger running away from a wolf?
Tigers are beyond my expertise, never seen one. Now Lions I would love to see and look for them all the time. I don't know what would happen between a wolf and mountain lion. You are right one wolf to a bear and I would think the bear would come out on top.
It was a very young inexperienced bear.
It looks more like a black bear not a grizzly
Lma9 time stamp 3:55 it looks like a dead man in a sleeping bag
It kinda does - thank you for commenting!
@@Yellowstonewolves hey thanks for sharing the video. Loved it. Talk about being at the right place at the right time
Thank you @biteme4573 - I spend hours out there some days and some even in bitter cold.
I completely understand. When i was tracking i would do the same some times. It takes patience, alot of patience. But that patience is rewarded. Sometimes with something we could never imagine. Such as this video. So rare, actually unthought of. Ive never heard of a grizzly being shy of a black bear like this. What im aware of is grizzlies killing black bears cause they couldn't find anything to climb or a spot to bay up in causing a face to face confrontation making it impossible for the grizzly to have the upper hand without getting hurt to bad.
WOlf Only joking
Haha - A bit true.
THAT IS A LARGE BLACK BEAR...DUHHHHH!!!!!! GRIZZLY BEAR HAS HUMP ON THE BACK ANS IS BROWN...NOT BLACK
Thanks for watching and commenting. If you look at the 1:19 mark you will find the color and hump. I took the video that day and have been watching bears for years. That is in fact a a grizzly and not a black bear. The bear is not black - sorry but it is a grizzly.
Please, open your eyes...
Many thanks!
