I blame my dad for getting me into rainbow n deep purple. I'm happy to say I saw deep purple in 2005. In New Zealand I'd love of saw rainbow too. Only wish cozy Powell was still alive.. Too :)
I remember seing this concert on TV. I must've been about 10 yrs old. Just started guitar lessons. Boy what an impact Ronnie James Dio had on me.. The Early years all i wanted was to sound/sing like him. (I did, but later on i found my Own voice) Hahaha

Ronnie is the best vocalist to ever live. And as a drummer, I always thought Cozy was the best drummer I ever heard. Hard to believe Ronnie, jimmy and Cozy are all gone. So sad. This music needs to back a come back. Todays music is @#$% compared to this performance

I was a big fan of the drummer, Colin Flooks if I’m not mistaken.
It is hard to believe that the song's start was out of a good synchrony. Quite unusual for such great bands. They sped and then corrected the time.
