Forgot to mention that the shine to him looks great in person! Almost as movie accurate as a figure can get with that kind of look.
Why did they blackened the front dome so much
Great video, but I couldn't hear the audio, so is the 40th Anniversary's Big Chap clear head dome showing the head's interior like the real Big Chap in the movie?
dragon53 it’s pretty translucent until it gets to the area where the eyes would be on the front and also on the back of the head that’s where the paint job makes it darker and hard to see through. Sorry about the audio,I’m working on getting better with each review, appreciate you checking out the review!
@@mr.angeryeyez9280 Thanks for the reply. I have the NECA 1/4 Big Chap from about five years ago which has the head dome that is not as clear as the new 40th Anniversary version so the inner head details are less visible. Based on photos of the actual suit used in the movie, it appears the 40th Anniversary's clear head dome is more accurate in that is does show the inner head details---except for the dark spot in front of the skull eyes which don't appear in the high quality photos of the actual suit that I've seen. Also, the 1/4 Big Chap from five years ago has a curved right lower leg that the 40th Anniversary appears to have corrected. I'm thinking about getting the 40th Anniversary version, but the head dome's dark area in front of the skull eyes is a big negative.
