I’m Australian. I chose Dallas as a bandwagon admittedly (2020 SCF) although bonus points in my eyes to Leafs, Yotes, Caps, Kings and Ducks as those cities have family members/friends I know who live in their areas.

Seriously. I was just at a game last night
Interesting list. My stepdad was raised in Chicago, and so the first team I cheered for was the Blackhawks. And I tell ya it was an awesome time growing up and getting them to see the team win those Cups. I still remember, getting my mom and stepdad to sit down and watch Game 6 in 2015. That was the first time I really sat down to watch a Finals match, and to see them win and hoist the cup. Mmm, magical stuff. It was the first time I grew a playoff beard and saw it to the end. Nowadays, they still hold a spot in my heart (despite the developments of the scandal going on), but I mainly root for the Ducks, Kings, Wild, Canadiens, Leafs, Kraken, Canucks, and occasionally see how the Hawks are doing.
Really appreciate your effort in making this video, which I think is important. Superbly done, by the way. Happy with Islanders ranking ;). Thumbs up!

I make CZcams videos myself and have a huge amount of respect on CZcamsrs that record and edit their own videos without any outside help. I always “Like” every video I watch even before I watch them. The reason I do it is because I appreciate the time and dedication CZcamsrs put into their videos. Also, if I come across a video again after I saw a few months ago, it tells me I already watched this video..not sure if that made sense or not. So, even though you ranked my 16th, I still appreciate your videos…and yes you nailed Melynk completely correct. I love the Sens but he almost made me want to switch teams.
I find it ammusing that he doesn’t actually “hate” a team in the NHL yet he’s such a big hockey fan, and the love you show every team at one point or the other is amazing, I do cheer for the sharks if they are good, we at least don’t have to play them as much anymore, as a wild fan lol 😂
If this channel has taught me anything, it's that I am an extreme Hockey fan, not just an extreme fan of what team. I love the sport. I try to remain as objective as possible.

Go isles! Great video. You put a lot of work into this and it paid off. Us isles fans are a handful and not to be cliche we’re one big family. Isles are uniquely a “small market” team in the largest sports market in North America and arguably the world. The fanbase has endured an entire generation of misfortune. Whether it be bad seasons, con-man owners, arena falling apart, relocation rumors, you name it, we all tend to be on edge at the defense of our team because of that. Im a fan of other teams from other sports and no fanbase compares to the islander family.

hey Neil, i just wanted to say, first off, that i appreciate all the hard work you put into this video and i really like the transition effect you have between each jersey and hat combo, it looks cool. Also, i've decided to stay subscribed to your channel because i really enjoy it. a little bit about me: i am a born again Christian, first and foremost, i am all about the Gospel of Jesus Christ so, if you're ever interested in hearing about it, just let me know. as far as hockey, i have four teams: Tampa Bay Lightning, Vegas Golden Knights, St. Louis Blues and the Washington Capitals. i also have 13 NFL teams :-) the Las Vegas Raiders being the 13th team.
The story about Patrick Roy leaving Montreal and going to Colorado all sounds soo familiar. I had the exact same scenario. Colorado remains my fav team due that impressive team they had in the 90's. Roy, Sakic, Forsberg, Blake, Foote etc.. Roy was my all time favourite as I played goalie growing up.

I have no favorite team in NHL Because they don`t show too many games here in Sweden.
But me and my youngest daughter, Who also is a "night owl" watches some games as they starts around 2 at night and choose a team each to cheer on.

just found your channel, and i kind of see myself in some of the things you're saying
as a french kid not knowing anything about the united states and just watching random games on tv and playing nhl games on my megadrive, i was a winnipeg jets fan. i loved the jersey, i loved the colors, i loved the name, and most of all i loved teemu selanne. it was hard, though, because the jets weren't a very attractive team in france so very few games were broadcast, and they played in the western conference, with a huge time gap, so even if they were broadcast, i certainly wouldn't have been able to watch. when the jets moved to phoenix i just let go, my team wasn't there anymore, and time difference to watch teemu play in anaheim was even worse.
so i looked for a team in the east....which was hard because my second favorite team were the detroit red wings, because of those obvious crazy russians that played so beautifully. they played in the east in basketball, the west in hockey, and that annoyed me a lot... so i settled on their 1997 finals rivals, the flyers. it didn't last, though, and i lost interest in hockey altogether by the early 2000s...... then i grew old and independent enough (and had a suitable internet connection...) to watch the ducks very late in the night without worrying and see the finnish flash's return to anaheim. then i went back to philly when i fell in love with the 2010 flyers of claude giroux and danny briere. then i discoved "le hockey des canadiens sur rds" and the awesome play by play commentary of pierre houde who genuinely made me care for this team just by how passionate he is about them. then the florida panthers rebrand had me really invested in watching that jersey and beautiful crest move on the ice and i can't express how ecstatic i am at the amazing season they're having right now (and getting giroux traded in)...
now i kinda wonder what team'll swoop me next. it's almost like i expect a random team to just woo me one day for a reason or another, to just give me an excuse to get another jersey, to learn other players, to just see more games. i love this.
I'm old enough to remember the original Winnipeg Jets. Those teams of the 90s were a lot of fun,and I loved their uniforms and arena. I hated when they left for Arizona,and what their situation is now. I have the current Jets as my 8th favorite,but if the original Jets still existed,I'd probably have them in my top 3

Sharks fan here who moved from Northern California to Seattle in 2015. If you haven’t made it to Seattle yet I highly recommend. It’s a great city and although I didn’t make it out to a game this season but everyone I talked to said it was a great atmosphere. I am partial to the Tank in SJ but I gotta give credit where credit is due. Vegas is insane. My mom lives there so I took her to a Sharks game in season one for VGK. It’s a little corny for me because of all the extra theatrics they have involved but I also recognize that that’s Vegas and it actually fits even even if its cheesy watching a knight on Ice skates and a sword fighting a fighter jet projected on the ice. Also I had to sit through the blue man group at intermission. Overall fun arena but all the extra isn’t for me.

Was your dad raised on the West Island? My dad grew up in point claire Montreal where they all spoke English in that micro pocket of Montreal, I supported the Canadians growing up even tho born and raised in Southern Ontario close to Toronto but recently have realised that I wanna chose my own team and not a city where I’m not from/ plus I feel a disconnect being a Canadian anglophone cheering for les bleu, separated from the French speaking quebecois- I really enjoy cheering for the flames having lived in Banff Alberta for the past 2 years- it just feels more right cheering for this team
I love the Nashville Preds I’m from Georgia so I obviously rooted for the Thrashers and then they were trash so I needed a home team that’s close…. Thought about Carolina but the Preds have such a strong and cool brand that makes me love them

Well, they did improve their winning percentage from last season to this, and that included a 5-15-1 start to this season. As a Sens fan going into the '22 season, I'll call my mood "cautiously optimistic." Also, even though I hated him, RIP to Eugene Melnyk.

I like Dallas just because of their goal horn! Its the best in the league in my opinion.
