While it's not my favorite game in the series, I have to admit, VII probably has the best music.

XIII trilogy had some of the best music in the franchise too (whatever the perception of the game itself may have been...)
I personally think that 6 receives that title but 7 has the best battle theme by far!
@@VClyfe Eeeh, I'd say most of XIII's soundtrack was way too generic tbh. A couple of the tracks stood out, but compared to, say, FFVI or VII or XV, who all had consistently good music, XIII's OST was, for the most part, pretty forgettable imo. :/
@@GrahamChapman Even as a huge fan of the XIII trilogy, I have to kind of agree. The first game had some bangers for sure, but a good handful of tracks just had that "RPG video game" feel and didn't really stand out a whole lot.
Having said that, there's no denying that it all became consistently better throughout the following two games. I have a soft spot for XIII-2's feel as a game in general, let alone how the soundtrack soared above XIII's.

that is by far the best part of this track and most covers cut it out. i hate it so much when they do that. every cover that keeps it gets my seal of approval. although i wish he'd do fancier overdrive stuff with it. i like that toxic eternity's version of that part way better.

One of my favorite games and I honestly must say I think this is one of the most wonderful versions of it I've ever heard. Makes the remake sound like a half ass attempt.

Alright, I’m gonna suggest you make a cover of a song from the game Fossil Fighters or Fossil Fighters Champions. I know little to no one has ever heard of the franchise (I know Jaiden Animations made a video on the first game), but both the games are great. The soundtrack is also absolutely amazing. From Fossil Fighters, I’d suggest either Captain Bullwort’s theme or King Dynal’s theme (preferably Bullwort’s theme, absolutely no one on the internet has made a cover of that song). From Fossil Fighters Champions, I’d suggest “Battle Etude.” It has a unique style that I’d think covering would be an absolute blast
