Years ago, I saw a woman wearing a t-shirt that said, “Only God can judge me!” I thought about that comment as she walked past me. Then, it dawned on me that she “pre-judged” everyone who might read her shirt, by putting it on! Jesus was teaching about hypocrisy, as we all judge every day. I would rather someone correct my straying from God, then have God Himself have to do it. Blessings and praise Jesus

Most people who proclaim that statement already know they’re living outside of Gods will. They’ve already judged themselves.
I would want my brother or sister in Christ to approach me if I was practicing sin, even if I got upset or was stubborn about it at first, I would know they were only trying to help me and I know I would come around to the correction because ultimately I want to be pleasing to God always.

This reminds me of conversations I've had. Sadly, there are many times when I've been the one who was blind. This is off topic, but years ago I used to drive a paratransit bus. One of my passengers was an eye doctor who was legally blind. (You end with some wonderful verses. Thank you.)

@@jehovah1ize - I know he had special equipment, but I never visited him in his practice. To be legally blind, his vision was 20/200, or less, or his field of vision was 20% or less. Don't know any details about that, but he was legally blind, and he was an ophthalmologist in Colorado Springs in the 90s.

We haven’t found a congregation that isn’t preaching politics and political saviors here in the Deep South Alabama for over 20 years. But maybe I’m allowing offense when I shouldn’t. God has been so good to give me parents who love the Lord and a Father who was a minister until 30 years ago. We love to talk about the Lord daily and share with each other what the Lord has shown us in His word. Also I had an illness and wasn’t able to go much of anywhere but God has completely healed me from debilitating pain and I’m so so thankful. Anyway now that I’m able again, I will look for a congregation again. Thank you for the encouragement. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God! He is worthy to be praised. 🙏🙏

Your recent pre-trib theory is just bad doctrine. and wishful thinking. "Pray that you may have strength to endure..." If Jesus told us to be strong, persevere to the end, and that the days were to be cut short for the sake of the elect, yet we the elect were already happily removed, does that really make any sense to you? You seem, my dear friend, to ignore the verses that contradict your chosen doctrine. I don't condemn you at all, I only encourage you to assimilate more verses into your understanding. Bless you! And, yes, Jesus is returning in 2030, AFTER the Tribulation which will begin with the revival of the Ottoman Empire next year.

@@moses2031 Isaiah 53 alone testifies against you but many other verses in Isaiah testify that Jesus would pass as the messiah. So you really have only two choices if you deny Jesus as the messiah. You would have to choose between God being a liar/deciever or God is incapable of protecting his sacred word. Of course all of that can be avoided if you truly look at the scriptures and see that Jesus meets all of the prophecies foretold

@@moses2031 Jesus fulfills the role of Isaiah 53 perfectly and that also makes this next verse make sense. As why would this next verse even be plausible if the Jews recognized their own Messiah?

@@moses2031 Isaiah 53:5 testifies against you as no other person can pay for our sins but the Messiah as all have sinned and are guilty. Only God who is without blemish can pay for our atonement, our ransom for sin. God cannot just forgive sin without payment as that would make him an unjust God. That is and was the reason God sent Jesus as the messiah to die the death of Isaiah 53
@@moses2031 But why does he pardon? No, for then there would have been no reason for sacrificing the lamb on the altar commanded by Moses. This was symbolism for those to have faith and look to God to provide the necessary sacrifice for forgiveness of sin as further symbolized with Abraham and his son on the altar. God cannot just forgive sin with no payment of any kind as that would make Him unjust. Elohim is not unjust and thus there must be payment. He does not take sin so lightly. Only a sacrifice can pay for our sins and to deny that is to call Moses a liar.

I love the One for Israel Team. You can see the humour of our Lord Jesus Christ in his ministry. I too believe Jesus was funny, and that he brought a delightful humour to his listeners in parables and also in how he performed certain miracles. Take Simon Peter for example: he prefered to be fishing rather than arguing with Rabbis in the Temple, so what did Jesus do when a temple police asked him to pay 'Temple Tax'? He told Simon to go fishing and the first fish that Simon cought would have a silver coin in its mouth enough to pay the 'Temple Tax' twice. (Matthew 17:27). This most likely was not lost on Simon, because the joke was on Simon. Jesus will meet us in our folly, just to demonstrate how silly we really are not to want to be with him.

This message is particularly important now. Am I teaching wisdom, or am I condemning? It seems to be in the eye of the beholder. They will judge me (us), based on our relationship, whether I am speaking in love or judgement. Unless, as you mention, I am being led by the Spirit.
This is a question I have for myself. It is good you articulate it. I will write it down in my notebook. Not by men, I was given this “Mercy” ( those who raised up to be Judges)- I am trying to understand what it means.

In general, I agree with what they have said. However, they should have explained abt. the difference between a constructive criticism and a judging others. We are permitted by our ONLY LORD/GOD Jesus Christ to criticise others (for a bad gesture, failing to do a good job, bad teaching, etc... but not to judge them as (sinners) for what they have done, as ALL OF US are sinners.

I have attended congregations where other sexual alternative lifestyles were not addressed or actually embraced and welcomed. If the discussion came up about judging immoral conduct/lifestyle, some congregants would get very agitated and say 'we have no right to judge'. Yet others would point out that the Bible clearly says it is sin.
How should congregations humbly and with grace approach these people or subjects?

Throughout the Sermon on the Mount the Lord expounds on the the state of the Law in the New Covenant.
"Judge not that you be not judged" is really Jesus telling the disciples to stop applying the Law, because if they apply it, they will be judged under it, which is not a desirable thing at all - "and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" - metron/measure being specifically the Law that is in view here.
Going back to Matthew 5, if we think the Lord is enforcing the Law, this is really not the case.
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus is simply pointing out that the exigencies of the Law, the judgments/(curses) of the Law, apply to those who reject him, that is to say those who reject grace, and therefore put themselves back under the Law, the Old Covenant, in line with the Law, ("I will require it of him" - Deuteronomy 18:19), and consistent with logic, since grace is no less than the exculpation of the guilt and the penalty of the Law. The 'least commands' here means the penalties of the Law; Jesus is saying that those in the church who will warn reprobate Israel of the coming judgment of AD 70, like Paul, ('it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God' - Hebrews 10:31'), are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Clearly so, as warnng the religious class of their falsehood and impending judgment was very dangerous.
Anyhow, it cannot mean that Jesus is doubling down on the full force of the Law, as a few verses later he overturns the Law of an eye for an eye. And it does not really make sense either in that the people who do teach the Law in its exacting fullness, the Levite class, are excluded from the kingdom of heaven.
The whole Sermon really goes back to the New Covenant promise of Jeremiah 31 where the socially enforced (quasi religious police state?) Mosaic legal system is replaced by a direct individual relationship with Christ.
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
[I am no raging expert on the Law, but Deuteronomy 26 looks like the last law, which is the law of the firstfruits of Israel ]
10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O Lord, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God:
I.E the least commandment is to worship Christ the firstfruits at the right hand of God the father.

The messiah's name was always going to be Jesus according to Zechariah Chapter 6... which is the same name as the post exile high priest ,Yeshua!
if the concept of Messiah and God are separate then it doesn't automatically follow that sins can be forgiven.. only God can forgive sins. furthermore if the expectation of Messiah is to reverse the events of Genesis 3 Genesis 6 and Genesis 11 then by Definition messiah has to be more than just a man.
Jesus being born of Mary but not of Joseph is not a problem according to Jewish history because I believe during the reign of Queen Alexandra Jewish law made Heritage pass on, by matrilineal Bases.
A basis for the Trinity can be established in the Old Testament by passages like Amos 4:11Isaiah 48:16.. and Judges chapter 2:1 and Daniel 7:9-14
Support for the idea of God becoming man in Scripture are Deuteronomy 18 verses 15 to 18 Focus of the verse speaks of the coming Messiah coming from lineage of Israel like unto moses.
We also have Exodus chapter 23 verse 20 and 21 the context of which is speaking about the future Endeavor of going over Jordan then we come to Joshua chapter 5 verses 13 to 15 and the context of this passage is having just gone over the Jordan into Israel.
Another proof of this idea perhaps most glaringly Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 4-10... the first thing you want to pay attention to is titles in verse 4 and verse 9... Hashem and the word of the Lord these titles are used interchangeably there's some definite implication there but the point of emphasis here is verse 9 because it goes a little further than just anthropomorphic language.
Now the next concern is did Jesus ever claim to be God? And for this the scriptures I would provide are Matthew 26:64 Jesus directly quotes Daniel 7:13
John 10:34 Jesus claims to be the judge in Psalm 82 referencing verse 6
In John 10 versus Both 11 and 14 Jesus Yeshua says that he is the Good Shepherd and you can cross-reference this with the very first line of Psalm 23.
In Mark chapter 6 starting from verse 45 Jesus walks on the water this is something designated in the Old Testament for something only God (job 9:8) can do this separates Jesus from the other people who did miracles.
Where another claim would be is in the fact that Jesus forgives sins, off the top of my head is Mark chapter 2
now certainly there have always been Messianic claimants but none of them have ever claimed to forgive sins.
