    His range of knowledge across the sub-specialities of medicine is unbelievable. In the same breath, without batting an eyelid, he talks about anti-aquaporin 4 antibodies, acquired stem cell defects, latest guidelines of atrial fibrillation and what not. Yet to see a more updated physician / educator / teacher. Blessed to have attended his classes. And his knowledge of psychiatry is outstanding too! And this is precisely why a generalist trumps a specialist hands-down in this era of irrational super-specialization.

    In Ques 2: I remember learning that patients with HOCM have defective heart and they cannot become athelete in the first place. Since the question mentions he is an athelete, how can the diagnosis be HOCM?

      In fact if I wd have given paper, without a second thought I wd have marked a plastic anemia...
      Bcoz robbins clearly mentions it transforms to leukemia (aml)...
      But ans given is Leukemia
