While I do love Kevin Afghani's performance both here and in Mario Wonder, I feel like he misses Charles Martinet's certain breath-y-ness and general slob-like behavior he brought to Wario. Both performances are excellent but I cant get past it
To be fair, this is Kevin's first time voicing Wario. I'm sure he'll improve over time.

It's a pretty good voice for his first go at it. Honestly, if I heard this voice before Charles' performance in Wario Land 4, I'd like this one more. It honestly could have been MUCH worse.

I love the image of Ashley feeding the berries to a tiny Red and you can see she likes it when you suceed at a microgame and that little smile turns into an evil grin as the boss stage starts when she grabs all the berries to feed to Red. Also little Red is so cute, I would buy a Red plush if one exists.

45:15 I didn't even KNOW the joycons had a "gesture window" at the front. I can't think of a single game where these are used. Like, it's always just been standard motion controls, if even that. How's it even work?
It’s an Infrared Camera. It’s only called “gesture window” in the game because Joy-Cons are “form stones” lol. Nintendo Labo is one of the few games that uses it heavily. For example - The Nintendo Labo Piano reads stickers on the back of each Piano Key to know what key you’re pressing. Note that only the red Joy-Con has an IR Sensor. Ring Fit Adventure uses it to check ur heart rate. Brain Age also uses the IR Camera to check for Hand Gestures.
It’s a pretty cool underrated feature.

Interesting note on the opening: I'm almost certain "you and 20 people" is a translation error, in japanese he just says 20 people can go on the trip, which makes more sense as all together including wario there are only 20 people. Also, in the japanese version wario seems perfectly fine with bringing everyone on the trip, if not excited about it. Odd that he's more annoyed by it in English. I kind of like seeing more of wario's friendlier side.

So much of the game looks fun, but many of the microgames seem to be missing some of the spiciness the Smooth Moves games did. It's like they're only doing an imitation sometimes. I cant quite put my finger on why. These games are weird, and full of energy, and definitely creative. But something is missing.
EDIT: I think I figured out what it is. Smooth moves had a LOT more unique drawn art. Move It has many more CG models and 2d animation. Both look good, but you can't beat the style Smooth Moves had.
