  • The Volkswagen Taigun and the Skoda Kushaq are two of the most well-liked SUVs in India. Although they are both based on the same platform and have many things in common, the two models also have some significant variances.
Skoda kushaq since its launch has suffered a lot of complaints and this has not changed much today but is it true that it comes with a lot of problems and these problems are major ones it could hinder the ownership experience if you are planning to purchase this car?
Volkswagen taigun is the other option that you have and this car also is built on the same platform so in terms of safety this car performs really well like other Skoda and Volkswagen cars and in terms of minor accidents Kushaq will keep you safe.
Skoda kushaq is finally here and this is one of the most anticipated cars from the Volkswagen group with the new platform specification for India a lot of things can change for Volkswagen and Skoda in India.
Skoda and Volkswagen have worked really hard to reduce the cost of these spare parts which was a major concern for all the previous customers from Skoda and Volkswagen.
I am here to tell you everything about the car, including the drive performance, overall handling balance, and ride quality in rough terrain, I drive the Skoda Slavia 1.0 l TSI manual transmission, and Slavia 1.0 l automatic with torque converter, and also the all-new 1.5 l TSI DSG gearbox.
The other vehicle you have is the Volkswagen Virtus, which was also constructed on the same platform and performs admirably in terms of safety as other Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles do. Slavia and Kushaq will protect you in minor accidents. Skoda claims that its safety standards go above and beyond the Euro NCAP rating.
Skoda Slavia is finally here and this is one of the most anticipated cars from the Volkswagen group with the new platform specification for India a lot of things can change for Volkswagen and Skoda in India.
The competition for Slavia is fierce from well-known manufacturers like Honda and Hyundai. Honda has benefited greatly from Honda City, which still sells like hotcakes. Since Skoda and Volkswagen have such a bad reputation in the used car market, these two automakers' main selling points for this vehicle need to be a comfortable ride and reliability.
Since the Skoda Slavia was made specifically for India, it has many features that are durable and made to withstand the rough trains in our nation. For example, its design, which is not very wide to cut through the traffic and makes it much simpler to handle the car in traffic, is one such feature.
Skoda and Volkswagen have worked incredibly hard to bring down the price of these spare parts, which was a major concern for all of their previous customers.
The new Skoda car feels and looks very promising. The car still makes for a pleasurable drive, and the cost of spare parts, which was a major concern in the past, seems to have been resolved for the time being. However, only time will be able to provide a more conclusive answer.
The Skoda Slavia has numerous problems, as I've previously stated and in the video. The car's safety is very good because it has industry-leading safety features that will provide you with excellent protection in the event of an accident.

There is substantial lag in lower RPM in my Taigun 1.0 TSI. Constant gear shifts are needed. But past 2,000 RPM, it is a rocket. Don’t buy Taigun/Kushaq for mileage. Drive it for fun to drive factor and great handling. There are other options for mileage factor.

I also felt that Kushaq has a better road presence than Taigun, Taigun felt more like a raised hatch back rather than a SUV, though they have the same dimensions.

Seems this review is not up to the mark. VW/Skoda has better service than Tata /Mahindra. Xuv 300 has less boot space but car is wider than Kushaq, xuv is a good car but audio system, poor boot space and has issues with braking in city traffic. Taigun cannot be compared to polo as Polo is better car. Kushaq/taigun good cars but some noise in the dashbiard panel and poor AC.

I have a few questions regarding Kushaq.
First of all I am a big fan of the design of kushaq.
I drive a swift VXI. My monthly running is 1000km approx. The road conditions are mixed. Like 30% bumper to bumper , 60% city roads with avg speed of 40kmph. I drive solo. Basically my daily office commute. I get fuel economy 13.5 kmpl average. Sometimes 15, sometimes 12. It depends. I go on long drives twice in a year with my wife and son.
Wiil kushaq be a suitable upgrade for me?
