I don't have a problem with the bears drafting a QB but I have a problem with them replacing JF1 with an unproven rookie
Think Bears are trading Fields and drafting Williams, but, I do the opposite and get Fields some pieces (Harrison Jr top of list). I still believe Fields is potentially a top 10 NFL qb...I do understand some out of patience with Justin, though

I really miss Justin Fields I hope he does well but whoever we draft I think Daniel is the better choice because of less hype and pressure, maybe Caleb Williams is going to be good but I just would rather have Daniels.

Maye doesnt need to sit. He needs reps. Ofc if you have the luxury to let him sit let him sit but he needs reps. All these guys need reps. In a weaker draft Maye goes #1 overall. In fact if we go back to the Trubisky draft or even the bad QB draft of two years ago where the first QB taken was Kenny Pickett at 20. Maye goes #1 overall. In my opinion the only guy who needs to sit is JJ McCarthy. These other guys can play, from Williams, to Daniels, to even Bo Nix, and Micheal Penix JR. These QBs can play.

I’m a Justin Fields fan, but after giving it some deep thought, here is the perfect solution for the Chicago Bears.
1. Trade Justin Fields for 2nd pick
2. Trade 1st round Pick to Washington Commanders. For swapping 1 and 2, plus future 1st round pick and 2024 2nd round pick. Plus a QB Sam Howell.
3. Draft QB Jayden Danielle’s with 2nd Pick
4. Draft Malik Nabers with 9th pick, which is instant chemistry with Jayden Daniel’s. (LSU).
5. 2nd round we will have 2 Picks. Draft a Center and Left tackle.
Open competition at QB 2025 with 2 High value QBs. With stud defense and pick up a stud defense end and safety in free agency.
This a 💯 % proof solution. All we need in 21 pts per game to win out with a stellar defense and offense will be unstoppable, defense will be MONSTERS Of The MIDWAY once again!
