I definitely understand the argument of stroud being closer to his ceiling than his floor. Look at Mahomes, Herbert (although it’s still early) those have been the best years of their careers fantasy wise early on.

Wassup its brook from trade 3 thanks for agreeing with the trade but this was only the second of many. There was another trade that got me the 1.01 and then I traded back for the 1.05. All in all though I think I really worked the trade room to get the QBs I got

Hey guys, this is rikeemtz from trade 2. I am planning on getting Nabers at 1.03 since I have the 1.04 to pick up Daniels/Maye depending on landing spot. I was also able to pivot off of Kelce + 1.10 + Darnell Mooney for LaPorta + $12 FAAB 😅 I’m building a younger roster that can compete for the next 3-5 years.

@@BDGEDynastyFantasyFootballFor what it's worth, I also have Kincaid on this team and like you guys are saying I'm planning on playing both McBride and Kincaid on a weekly basis. I have Josh Allen so I got that stack my other QBs are Richardson and Russell Wilson. I tend to build around young stud receivers but in this league I ended up getting some top end tight ends instead. Since my receivers weren't as great as my other leagues, I decided it was also a good move since I'm tearing up from rice to Aiyuk.

I think the best way to fix the TE value is to make people start 2 TEs, no matter what the "TE premium" is they will never have value if there is no scarcity at the position
It doesn’t help that much, I’m in a 12 team, start 11, SF, 2TE, 2PPR for TE league and the guy who won it all had Goedert and Mayer. There are definitely no TE’s on the waiver wire lol but their “value” still isn’t anything special. Like most speciality scoring, it’ll separate the top scorers at a position but it won’t translate across positions.

Right but how come everyone who says “it want his rookie year” also seems to believe that there’s no way he could get better. Like no he wasn’t a rookie, but it being his first year starting doesn’t mean nothing. People act like this was his absolute ceiling just because he sat on the bench for a few years

The Texans will need to score 35+ ppg for Stroud to be much better. Stroud will be amazing but he's not going to be Jalen Hurts good from a ppg basis. I'll take the Love and JJ side here. I'm going to bank that JJ and Love outscore G Willy and Stroud on a weekly basis

Okay well he literally just had the best rookie season by a QB ever lol. The hype is warranted. It’s asinine to suggest he’s already hit his peak. People forget he also missed two games last year.
@@joeypaschal958 yeah I mean you can argue all you want on how good of a real life qb he is. I’m talking fantasy points here. Herbert scored 70 more points in the same amount of games as Stroud his rookie season. And Herbert has already shown a 450 point season with a qb 2 finish. So he already has shown his ceiling and more production his rookie season fantasy point wise. Yes in a start up if I have to chose between Stroud and Herbert then I will take Stroud but keep trade cut says you need to add Chris olave to get Stroud with herbert. That’s the thing I’m saying is how people want the look of stroud on their lineup when herbert has already shown more point production. Me personally 3 year difference in qb is irrelevant so she has no meaning here to me. Another thing to take into account for Herbert is the situation he is in now but regardless of that before all of the news about the chargers stroud was still significantly more expensive. Another example is how keep trade cut says stroud is worth dak and the 1.01/Amon ra which is just absurd seeing as daks last season is what you are wishing around can do just one time at least. Dak also easily has 3-4 more years of elite production. If stroud comes out and scores 450 points the next 2 seasons in a town the I will eat my own words I guess

Always said Shakir was the Puka Nacua of the 2022 draft after Puka broke out last year. Good value either way!
Keep in mind Stroud missed two and some change games so I would say this year is his floor. He probably would’ve ended closer to 4600 and 29tds
You can’t just pretend last year was Jordan Love’s rookie year lol. Yes, it was his first year starting, but he was still in the league training and gaining valuable knowledge that Stroud hasn’t had the opportunity to do yet. I was wrong on Love, but still Stroud>Love pretty easily for me.
Right but you also can’t pretend like it being his first year starting means absolutely nothing, which is what Love detractors do all the time. Does it mean as much as if it was his rookie year? No. Does that all of a sudden mean that we’ve seen Loves ceiling? Hell no
