Too many of one population puts nature at an imbalance, so although it is sad that some must starve...life must go on. Edit: To add more to the overpopulation, human beings are highly over populated. Our sheer numbers out nature at an imbalance to the point some go without food, and to the point other species start dying out since we are the top predator.
