- Behind the Scenes as Mick Schumacher took the Jordan 191 for a drive around Silverstone. The 1991 Jordan was the very first car his father Michael drove, 30 years ago at Spa Francorchamps.

I love how Uncle Seb was there to talk him through how the car works and how to handle it. Real familial bond between the two of them and it's so wholesome to see!
Michael was his childhood hero and a mentor during his early days in F1; it only seems right that Seb does for Mick what Michael, sadly, can not. :-(
Did Seb drive it before? How did he know? :)
@@motofan16 "he was a bit of a nerd"
@@subie2831 yea he was a little nerd he knew every world champion
@@motofan16 not that car, but Seb has driven F1 cars with manual "H" pattern gear boxes. This was Mick's first drive of a manual car......
Seb taking the role that Michael would've played in Mick's F1 career proves that Seb deserves the world.
Seb was guided by Michael during his young career, before coming to F1. Seb wants to do the same for Mick. It is also helpful that both drivers speak the same language and are very close as friends.
@@Denhalen79 Looking at Ralf attending David's race really makes me wonder if Michael is fit and healthy, will he be attending Mick's race as well. Sadly, it won't happen. To think Mick really missed Michael's presence during his crucial period in junior career since the age of 13, especially after Mick mentioned in documentary on how he would sacrifice everything to talk motorsports with Michael.
@Formula Mindset Might be talking out of my ass here, but I wonder if Ralf lowkey hates Mick because Mick is driving in F1, while his son isn't.
@@Zwodo Doubt it. Ralf ain't like that.
We love Driver Seb and Inspector Seb, but "Uncle Seb" is a whole mood.
If anyone is wondering Mick told Seb he never raced a formula car with a Stick shifter, than Seb starts explaining what's the best way to shift through all the gears since there is not much space.
Thanks for this
@Hanif Yes they were talking in German
And what is funny to me is that even if I don't speak a single word of German, I seem to understood that the guys are talking about passing the 6th @3'30 just because I do the same with this very car in AC. (And in any 6 gears car actually ofc).
Mick is smiling the whole time, what a nice kid.
Seb and Mick have the most wholesome relationship between two drivers this sport has ever seen.
The relationship between Damon Hill and Michael was better
@@Fred_the_1996 Better? Maybe
More wholesome? I doubt that
no, jackie stewart and françois cevert were more wholesome. Dont say shit if you start to watch F1 last year because of DTS
@@LIGIERJS111979 hey I've been watching since 2005 so I know my shit. Plus you don't need to be disrespectful with new fans no matter where they come from. Plus not everyone was, you know, alive in the 80s and 90s, so cool down a little bit will ya
@@LIGIERJS111979 also, about 195 people seem to directly disagree with you :)
I forgot, F1 cars used to sound monstrous like this. Sweet
And that is just a V8. Now remember V10 and V12... :D
Welcome to sound & vision.
Also the car is really exciting to watch on track, its ultra light so you can see all driver movements and it looks faster than F1 cars now despite being 6-8 seconds slower
What ferrari2k said,pretty much.
This event is more precious than the whole Belgian "race" we had today. That sparked shame, while this sparks joy 🤩 So happy to see Mick honoring his dads legacy . Wishing the best, team 👍
I for one am glad that we got through the race weekend without anyone dying, which could very easily have happened.
The entire Formula 1 community has kept Mick Schumacher under our watch, and we will continue to, that's a promise we keep, Michael, we won't let anything happen to him❤️
I really miss these kind of engines.
Awesome…. It is so sad that Michael can’t stay there. Keep going Mick and keep fighting Michael 👊🏻
Why should Mick fighting Michael?
@@ark9823 lmao this is actually funny, but what he means is Michael should keep fighting through his condition or something can't explain it properly, but basically he wishes Michael the best
How did Seb snag an invite... it’s wonderful seeing these 2 together.
This was the same day as the tire test the Tuesday after Silverstone. Albon was on track the same day too.
Wasn't Jordan is Aston Martin today?
Mick probably said.. it would be a lot cooler if my Uncle Sebastian were here.. Lol
Funny how the shake phone camera makes it seem more like normal people enjoying the experience. So used to the production level cameras on everything.
It looks like mclaren unboxed
They are just as normal as everyone else.
@@rutgerhoekstra1666 yah and thats what er Like Not everything Special Just normal and perfect
I am so sad Michael is missing there.. see the eyes of Mick, wooow full of happiness and energy.. surprised Sebastian also there.. Keep fighting Michael
More action in this video than in Spa grand prix today
this is the most beautiful single seater ever made. Every line is beautiful. The sillouhette and the proportions are just stunning
2:05 holy shit that sound, that FUCKING SOUND!!!! SO FUCKING EPIC
I wish Michael was there to see all this unfold! 😭
Who knows maybe he has seen it cuz I think 2 or 3yrs ago in the news they said Michael is only able to communicate via his eye's
If he's really still alive or receptive in any way, i'm sure they will show him videos like this.
I love friendship between Mick and Seb so much
they ain't just friendship. It's a "I respect you like how I respect the man before you."
I really like Mick, hope he gets the car to win races in his career
The sound of a real racecar!!
How beautiful to Mick drive his father's 1991 Jordan 😂❤
Crying just thinking how much he must be missing Michael🥺
I agree 😢
True definition of "I'm driving my dad car"😂😂
initial d but its f1 (you'll get the joke if you ever watched initial d first stage)
@@KitKitChanIsaac Is Mick secretly a delivery driver when he’s not racing?
@@armadillolover99 Probably
That 1991 Jordan is the most stunning looking F 1 car and that glorious Engine noise
Then listen to the Ferrari F92a. Another world.
V8 3.5L
7-Up as a racing livery looks so awesome. Too bad we will never see one again
This brutal V8 Sound 😍
Love that roaring engine sound!!!!!
What Sound. What a beatiful car
Uncle Seb checking if everything is right and explaining how the car works :D
Specifically, after scrolling in the comment section, telling how to drive with a stick shift since Mick never drive a Formula 1 car with a stick.
Der Sound 🤤, da kommen Erinnerungen auf
Wow. The Ford V8 sounds really brutal. I love it. 🤩
That raw engine power ❤️ and the sound ❤️
That's my car :) I couldn't be more proud.
Mick und Seb=heart warming 💕
Seb as always is the best
Not that it'll happen so or ever, but I wonder: If Mick wins a title and Seb is still around, be it as a driver or something else, I wonder how emotional Seb would get.
THE best looking F1 car of all time!
Thank you.
That car engine sound is soo 🔥🔥🔥🔥
2 Dislikes. Now we know that Nikita Mazepin and his father are using CZcams.

Mick + Seb + V8 Sound. Best Ingrediens for a good video :D
Que lindo recuerdo para Mick! Y con el Tío!
That would be great if Mick and Seb are teammates in the future.
Awesome Sound
Que pena que a equipe tirou esse piloto da equipe. Não só por ser filho do Schumacher, mas esse menino t brilho próprio. Até me fez parar e assistir novamente as corridas.
that sound though.. awsome
Kids... this is what f1 is about
Haven't seen any of Mick Jr's career. Hope the kid enjoys the experience. Schuei's a legend.
With George at Mercedes,Max at Redbull the next missing puzzle is Mick to Ferrari...Times are changing fast and my dream to watch the Young Trio battle for the championship will soon be realised❤️❤️❤️
History was made in the Jordan 191
#keepfightingmichael
If only Michael was there to see it. He would've been one proud dad.
Ai love how seb talking to mick and how the car works
That thing sounds quite good
Who owns and maintains the older F1 cars? Seems like a lot of work to keep them in top condition and they’ve been doing a lot of these retro rides recently
In some cases, it's the team itself that keeps them, especially with teams like McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes. Mercedes actually has Jenson Button's Brawn GP chassis 003 in its HQ in the UK, and keeps it in running condition. The other two, chassis 001 and chassis 002, were sold at auction in 2010 iirc, so chassis 003 is the only one that still runs. McLaren has an entire department at their HQ dedicated to historic cars, including those along the Boulevard of Champions like Senna's MP4/4, and the F1 GTR that is there from Le Mans.
Ferrari has the same, an entire historic and restoration division that if a private buyer acquires a Ferrari F1 car and they want to actually drive it, they can have it shipped to Maranello so that the factory looks after it for a tidy sum each year (something in the range of a million and a half Euros or so, which is pocket change for most owners of F1 cars). The Ferrari Classiche (pronounced class-ee-kay) department will return it to working order, and also provide a pit crew when the owner wants to take it out driving, or for Corsa Clienti days. Corsa Clienti days are awesome to watch on CZcams, you get to see stuff like the best sounding Ferarri F1 car, the 412 T2, 250 GTO's, F40 LM's, F50 GT's, 599XX's, FXX's and their Evo models, and the FFX K's and Evo models go screaming around a track. They'll either hire a track like Imola or Monza, or take their customers to Mugello, which they own, and give them pit facilities and crews, driver training, and the like.
In terms of the 1991 Jordan, that's owned by a man named James Hanson, who has had it for quite a few years after he bought it at auction. The car was originally serviced by Force India, as that is the team that took Jordan GP's entry when Eddie Jordan pulled out, but I don't know who maintains it now, as Lawrence Stroll ended that entry ticket when Aston Martin F1 came in as a new entry ticket. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if the Aston Martin classics department doesn't look after it. Those engines need rebuilds after about 30 hours of running at the outside limit.
@@vagabond142 Damn thanks for the info, You hsould just post it as a comment so other notice it quickly
@@vagabond142 One of the three Brawn GP cars is owned by Ross Brawn and still runs, and I believe Jensen Button owns one as well.
That's so awesome that Mick drove his dad's first F1 car.
Um dos carros mais lindos da história da F-1.
