I tried this for you guys, and here's the outcome:
1. my first 2 try didn't work (my bad I missed some important step).
2. 3rd game, I understood everything and won (out of luck, gord happens to appear in the shop after fatebox).
3. 4th game, gord did not appear, but appear in the fatebox, won2nd (countered by ling-skill2-duel, can't cast skill).
4. my next 3 games lost (but it's okay at this point I am just experimenting, looking for more possibilities), gord appearance in shop is rare, gord in fate box is rare.
5. my next 2 games just keep losing (it's hard to have early winstreak against legends-mythics, you won't have enough gold to look for gord, and you won't have enough hp for the sacrificial round, the rounds after you activated tharz).
Overall, this strategy is 7/10, it depends totally on luck (for higher ranks).
For lower ranks, success rate can go higher to 90%
Edit: it doesn't have to be gord, other 5gold heroes will do the trick.
