I plan getting one and use it for rural postal delivery, I like this 10 foot model. I'd would have too cut into the box to out a pass throw, add a spot for a tiolet, shelves and a convert it from left hand drive to right hand drive.
Awesome - I should have used it ft or profit before the conversion 10ft is a simple truck to drive

I’ve had them since 1990. They’ll be there if I return 👍🏻
I live in Portland Oregon and there are probably 10 Uhauls for sale ranging from $3,995 to $12,995 as I write this. The cheap ones are usually marked as "mechanics special" and either have a tired engine or transmission, or both. I have been shopping for one for the box so I can mount it on a car trailer for when I haul my Can Am Defender side by side. I thought I could sell the rest as cab and chassis to recover some funds but I found a dead ex Uhaul in a wrecking yard to get box from. Portland was the original birthplace of Uhaul so they have several big dealer stores here. The cost to replace engine or transmission is like $4k each so be careful. Could by a cheap mechanically tired one and replace both with warranties and you know you are reliable for lots of miles.

@@hellomynameistony Well if they try to negotiate with the 9500 offer ...you could counter with 8,500 if it is still available in December. 😊They likely want it off their lot if they are not using it as want to put something else there.

Used? Probably not financed. Interestingly it’s considered commercial by weight and insurance has been complicated - a good used one is 8k/14k. Less $ might mean mechanical problems
