What an awesome race! I'm just getting into MotoGP, but I can say for sure than this wasn't just one of the best races I've seen, but some of the best coverage I've seen. I loved how they payed attention to the 5 and 6 place fight for place...I guess. And I liked their coverage of crashes and even the racers who had to drop out. Beautiful.

They raced in the opposite direction at Misano back then. I seem to remember that Sheene hated the place and referred to it as a Mickey Mouse track. Nice to see the old coverage, thanks for uploading.

I read in KR bio that Franco had been imposible to beat that year because of his tyres....1982 and 1981, two golden years in 500...for sure!

@@pabloperez4063 in fact it has always surprised me that when it comes to the history of the bike pilots, motorcycles, but never tires are mentioned. The tyres, on the other hand, are so decisive that now motorbikes and the F1 teams use same tires to put all the teams in equal conditions. A qualification tire can gives seconds to lap compared to a harder and less gripping tire. With same pilot and bike of course. I remember the domination of Ducati in 2007 with the Bridgestones. The year after Valentino Rossi threatened to leave the race if he could not have the same tyres. Thanks for the comment.

In JAPAN. the information of World GP increased from this year.
    Previously. It was only magazines.
Later the video information spreaded about World GP .
