Even the best lockpicker wouldn't want to go up against an Abloy or similar, so it's often simpler to just acquire the key somehow.

The term Manji can be used for the shape in question. It is a reversed form of this shape and the original version which was indeed a symbol of wisdom and peace for millennia.
Another useful term to remember is Hakenkreuz (broken cross). Even during WW2, the symbol was still used officially in Scandinavia with no ideological connection to Nazism. It could be seen on the tails of Finnish Air Force aircraft, both during the Winter War (in which they defended independently against Soviet aggression, though nominally aligned with the Allies), and during the Continuation War (in which they accepted military assistance from Germany, but cracked down on attempts to implement SS policies locally).
Yeah, same for me. The nazi svastika is usually displayed with a 45 degree spin as well. Usually the indian symbol also seems to have the arms pointing the other direction.

One interesting note about the symbol is that by looking at the orientation, you can probably know roughly where it came from, this "anti clockwise" version is the original symbol that is used mostly outside of China. When Buddhism spread to the mainland of China, the Chinese changed this symbol to be clockwise and mainly used this version since the 7th century. The difference of orientation was originally caused by the different orientation monks unwrap their sutra, but after WWII, I would think that most chinese lock makers prefer the clockwise orientation. But regardless of the orientation, it's still the same symbol, one for good fortune and virtue.
I think it is worth noting that the symbol really became popular as a symbol for hate looooong before Hitler, when it was found at the site of what was believed to be the city of Troy, some thought it was the missing link in human civilization hunting at an extinct master race. So, while, sure it means luck, it sometimes had luck as a secondary meaning, like how Coca Cola used it to resemble the luck of being American, so the idea that the symbol had one meaning and that it abruptly shifted… it’s more complicated than that
You must be 12 or something. No one born before the year 2000 (ie, people that weren't born tiktok level retrded) would be oblivious to the meaning of the symbol.

The Swastika is an ancient sacred symbol that has been here for thousands years and will be much more.
In eastern europe it is a symbol of death and destruction. Which is ironic because early slavs also used it and it also had a different meaning

Your concept of time consuming opening locks is completely different than my concept of time consuming.
Given that his raking attacks usually last less than 2 seconds, a whole minute is like eternity…
Thieves are criminals of opportunity, they wouldn't even try and open this because it would take so much longer than a normal lock.
They'd either pass it up or, as LPL teaches us, probably just try to break/smash open whatever's locked in the first place rather than try to pick it. Weakest link and all that.
He picked the lock of his personal recommendation bike lock in roughly 47 seconds.

LPL: Unlocked, wow that was an incredibly difficult lock to pick!
@@nathanhansen1636 he said wares iirc
@Snoi Med Primarily because LPL-grade professionals are exceedingly rare. You don't get that good by being a criminal because if you mess up as a criminal you go to jail and can't further develop your skills; you do it by years of legitimate experience and by that point you're very unlikely to throw it all away for a criminal endeavor. There is also the honest truth that some locks are genuinely unpickable, as we've seen on this channel. Even the best lockpicker wouldn't want to go up against an Abloy or similar, so it's often simpler to just acquire the key somehow.
@@WardenWolf if it's a criminal organization they send personnel to be trained for this purpose.

Manji. I have to remember that word.
Another useful term to remember is Hakenkreuz (broken cross).
Even during WW2, the symbol was still used officially in Scandinavia with no ideological connection to Nazism. So true, even longer if you really, really have to go. You do know the second and third most secure motorcycle locks lasted less than 20 seconds.
Probably one of the longest lasting locks I've seen on here.
But regardless of the orientation, it's still the same symbol, one for good fortune and virtue.
cheers
I think it is worth noting that the symbol really became popular as a symbol for hate looooong before Hitler, when it was found at the site of what was believed to be the city of Troy, some thought it was the missing link in human civilization hunting at an extinct master race. So, while, sure it means luck, it sometimes had luck as a secondary meaning, like how Coca Cola used it to resemble the luck of being American, so the idea that the symbol had one meaning and that it abruptly shifted… it’s more complicated than that
Me: Sees a symbol that looks like a vortex or a hurricane cloud
LPL: A symbol that might get me demonetized

You must be 12 or something. No one born before the year 2000 (ie, people that weren't born tiktok level retrded) would be oblivious to the meaning of the symbol.
