Τζένα φαράγγι και Καταρράκτης Νότιας Ν . Πέλλας.

A small waterfall at the beginning of an impressive canyon that cuts through a lush forest and ends at the peaks of Mount Jena. A dirt road starts through the village South of Pella, which after 2 kilometers reaches a closed bend. From here begins one of the most beautiful mountain paths of our country that moves through an impressive canyon with vertical rocks on the right and left. A few meters after the dirt road and inside the path there is a small waterfall with a height of up to 10 meters. Vertical rocks rise around it, while the dense vegetation does not let the sun through. The waters continue to descend creating a small stream that is also covered by tall trees. The waterfall is located at an altitude of 680 meters. From here, the trail continues into the gorge and with a total length of 11 kilometers and an altitude difference of up to 1,400 meters, it ends at the top of Mikri Jena at 2,070 meters. At the 680 meters altitude where the waterfall is located, there are mixed forests of oaks and various deciduous trees, with the dominant species being the bushy form of holly. The dense vegetation around the stream includes sycamores, maples, chestnuts, elms, willows and a few alders.
Ένας μικρός καταρράκτης στην αρχή ενός εντυπωσιακού φαραγγιού που διασχίζει ένα πλούσιο δάσος και καταλήγει στις κορυφές του όρους Τζένα. Μέσα από το χωριό Νότια της Πέλλας ξεκινάει ένας χωματόδρομος, ο οποίος μετά από 2 χιλιόμετρα φτάνει σε μια κλειστή στροφή. Από εδώ ξεκινάει ένα από τα ωραιότερα ορεινά μονοπάτια της χώρας μας που κινείται σε ένα εντυπωσιακό φαράγγι με κάθετα βράχια δεξιά και αριστερά. Λίγα μέτρα μετά τον χωματόδρομο και μέσα στον μονοπάτι υπάρχει ένας μικρός καταρράκτης με ύψος που φτάνει τα 10 μέτρα. Γύρω του υψώνονται κάθετα βράχια, ενώ η πυκνή βλάστηση δεν αφήνει τον ήλιο να περάσει. Τα νερά συνεχίζουν να κατεβαίνουν δημιουργώντας ένα μικρό ρέμα που σκεπάζεται και αυτό από ψηλά δέντρα. Ο καταρράκτης βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 680 μέτρων. Από εδώ, το μονοπάτι συνεχίζει στο φαράγγι και με συνολικό μήκος 11 χιλιόμετρα και υψομετρική διαφορά που φτάνει τα 1.400 μέτρα, καταλήγει στη κορφή της Μικρής Τζένας στα 2.070 μέτρα. Στα 680 μέτρα υψόμετρο που βρίσκεται ο καταρράκτης επικρατούν μεικτά δάση βελανιδιών και διάφορων φυλλοβόλων, με κυρίαρχο είδος τη θαμνώδη μορφή του πουρναριού. Η πυκνή βλάστηση γύρω από το ρέμα περιλαμβάνει πλατάνια, σφενδάμια, καστανιές, φτελιές, ιτιές και λίγα σκλήθρα.
