My Boholano wife uses "ha" as a request for me to repeat myself. The problem is that she does it out of habit and I find myself frequently repeating everything I say even though it was said clearly in the first place.. Very frustrating
@@61JWolf oh that's frustrating to keep repeating what you're saying. Hope both of you find a solution to lessen the repetition.
@@cebuano101 It wasn't my intention to single out my wife. I mention it because I have observed other (not all) Filipinas doing the same thing. And, was thinking that it was a somewhat common habit here. Interestingly, I have not observed Filipino men doing this. The solution for us is for me to just not repeat myself and after a second or two she realizes that she is using "ha" again out of habit.

I think it's good that you call out the habit so the person will be more mindful and break it eventually.
