    The audio quality for this is really good!!
    Thanks so much for uploading this! Didn't they also have a different ending? That ending was really exciting! Either way, Favorite show!

    Just pisses me off every time I watch this show and Frameworks. Pisses me off at the fact that the staff have thrown out the door everything the Cavies have done with shows like this. Literally any moment u take from this show can be a memorable keeper.

      It has been tough to watch The Cavaliers make the decisions they have made over the past decade. Even when I was marching there were signs that Titanic was headed towards an iceberg.
      Thanks for the comment.

      Jordan Thomas that's awesome! So u were a part of this show? What did u play?
      Btw... How was Jeff Fiedler as a director?
      Always curious about that. Cause clearly he had a hand in bring Cavaliers to glory, and multiples times

      Yep, this show was my first year. I'm the right quad drummer as you look at the line.
      It was pretty tough jumping into a show where the quad line was featured so much!
      Jeff was great to me. I have total respect for how well the corps ran and how high the standard of performance was. We really were the Green Machine back then.

    I was there for this show. I had not seen it all season, but knew this show was going to win DCI that year. It was funny because another guy turned to me and said, "Meh." Told him he just watched the 2004 DCI champion.

      @@justamaninTN The Blue Devils were very good that year. I loved their Summer Train Blues Mix and their surprise exit off the field. But I do agree that the Cavaliers' "007" show was the best that I saw from 2004.

    Did the snare line use Black Max heads this year or am I thinking about someone else?

  • @andrewstone2373

    Was the whistling done by the corp or by members of the audience?

    • @oakley2810
      @oakley2810  Před 6 lety +5

      The horn line is whistling. It was inspired by a jazz recording that had a whistling solo that our program coordinator heard.

    Can someone tell me just when and why tenor drums started being set at crotch level rather than at (traditional) waist level?

    • @oakley2810
      @oakley2810  Před 5 lety +1

      We just rolled with what felt comfortable with our technique. Our drums and hands tended to be lower than most.
      Plus, the old cavs unis had a really short jacket to make us all look taller.
