- We grew up playing Where’s My Water? Where’s My Perry? maybe even Where’s My Mickey? But do these games hold up, and how do they compare to the original? Let’s find out as we go through the history of the series!
Which mascot is your favorite? I'm definitely partial to Swampy, but it's hard to beat Perry...
Let me know how you would rank these! And which series of games should I cover next?

As a kid I thought Swampy, Allie and Cranky were siblings
Bro, same...
Same
Wait they aren’t ????
@@viruskiller222 no they aren’t💀
Well if they ARE siblings disneys got some explaining to do…
In the first game, you bathe swampy about 350 times, which is not a lifetime so I don’t know how much you shower.
OH NO IVE BEEN FOUND OUT
Yeah that's like a year if you do it daily
It'll be a lifetime if you die after 1 year
Its a very short life time
That isn’t even a year
Where's My Water franchise was killed when Disney made it "free to play" in an attempt to chase higher profits. That's why we added power-ups, hints, and Facebook integration. After WMW2 failed to monetize to Disnry expectations they laid off the majority of our team ending the franchise. I really enjoyed making the games, the Turfinator and Ooze/purple icicles and music note challenges being my creations.
Wait you were part of the dev team? Well thank you for making such an amazing game, it's sad that corporate greed ruined it but what can you do...
Maybe this series would still be active if they made Where's My Chicken Little? like we all desperately needed
Haha such an OBVIOUS game can’t believe they never did it
You have to fill his jet pack with soda
I just know if it had stuck around a little bit longer, Disney probably would’ve forced them to make “Where’s My Olaf?”
okay but a snow mechanic could have some serious potential, like water with sand physics instead of fluid physics.
Then I am glad the franchise died
11:31 I have a feeling I know why they chose perry. In each episode, someone says "Where's Perry?" And Where's My Perry? is a very similar phrase.
14:11
Phineas and ferb one will FOREVER be my favourite
Yeah I think most people are gonna agree with you
@@Jake.Miller ducks, water, bombs you want it? it's yours my Friend.
Haha that’s awesome
@@Jake.Millersorry Perry I can’t give credit, come back when you have more mmmmmm water
There is a sequel to phineas and ferb?
28:38 Actualyy, Upside Down doesn’t move the ducks, it keeps the ducks in the same place on the screen while moving everything else.
I’m 99.99999% positive that is not true
Oh wait I think I see what you mean. If true, that’s pretty cool
@@Jake.Miller beaten by the 00.00001%
Haha that’s why you never say that shit
False, this can only be on some levels, but not all tge levels, the most frustating case of this levels are on the Woods, cuz im beating it
Need a kindle fire tour, the nostalgia contained in that must be insane
I still don’t know how I could screen record on it, I really wanna do something with it
I miss that time when where's my water, angry birds, cut the rope were the big 3 of mobile gaming.
I always thought as a kid that Swampys parents were Allie and Cranky (while not watching the cutscenes)
There’s actually a ton of people saying that, common misconception it sounds like
This is the only person I go to whenever I want to see videos talking about nostalgic mobile games. Your voice is honestly really soothing, and I've learned about the lore of all the mobile games I have played before.
I really appreciate you saying so! That really means a lot. I hope to keep making videos you enjoy
Finally, after 4 months in the making, it’s finally here. Also there is a where’s my water T-mobile edition and the free/lite version had some exclusive content. Also before mud in the first game was introduced, it was cement, which was the same as mud, but turned into rock. However, it was kinda accidentally dummied out of the game as mud and cement shares the same code, but you can re enable cement back in the game.(also when you relies that this year marks 10 years scene a new where’s my water game.
edit: kongergate doesn’t own where’s my water, they only own the publishing rights to the second game. Jake, you did lie to us. I also got ipas’s for where’s my Mickey Xl and where’s my xiyanyang, but I’m too dumb to figure out how to play them.
Wait really? I never saw anything about cement in my research on the game. I guess I’ll take your word for it!
@@Jake.Miller you can read about it in the where’s my water removed features wiki page. There is also a video on the page to show you what it would look like.
Cool
@@Jake.Miller To be fair, cement was never actually used in the game, as it's an unused feature. I personally don't mind you not mentioning it, as that would work better in a deeper dive of wmw.
Hi! Love the video. Just wanted to give an answer for the "why did they choose Phineas and Ferb in 2012?" : it just was that popular. The show aired from 2007 to 2015, 8 years and 129 episodes which is crazy for an animated show. It even had a Marvel and a Star Wars crossover special and was the only TV franchise to be added to the game Disney Infinity alongside their big movie characters. In 2011, Disney even created a national platypus day, and had Michelle Obama do "the platypus dance" to celebrate the event in 2012. The choice for a spin off choice may seem odd today, but back then Phineas and Ferb was an absolute phenomenon
Genuinely I was wondering why he even bothered explaining what Phineas and Ferb is, anyone born before 2012 almost certainly knows the show because it played on loop on TV every summer from 2010 to... Well they still play it every summer now but kids don't watch TV anymore.
I thought Austin John was crazy, but Wendigoon is even more wild.
Haha INSANE even
The golden age of mobile games.

Hey, I am a huge part of the wmw community, and any wmw content I love. About the perry and mickey dlcs, yeah, we have those. We also have where's my xyy, and an english mod. If you want to try them out, I'll gladly point you in the right direction.
By the way, we do also have every single game in the series to download, as apks, and also as ipas (for ios). There are even some windows 8 / 10 versions that you can install, but might be a bit harder, and they may not work as well.
Just saying, it's in the wmw wiki server (that is linked on the wiki).
Dang wish I knew this before making the video haha
can i have them?
@@IKER1000sYT It's in the where's my water wiki discord server (which I have linked on my channel).

What a coincidence
(Epic Mickey remake was announced recently, so there is MOST DEFINITELY talk around it)
Yeah it’s crazy that epic Mickey just RUINED my intro

i was about to say that xD
Ever thought about doing a Jelly Car ranking? It's another nostalgic mobile game series from the late 2000s that is also remembered fondly.
Bro I remember playing that game for so long when I was young
I’ve never played, guess I’ll have to try it out!
The Jelly Car game on Apple Arcade goes so hard
(Btw I've seen you in the comments section many times before, happy to see you here again!)
@@Jake.Miller I believe that Disney published that game too.
Just FYI, the original creator just released a sequel on steam to the original Jellycar trilogy called Jellycar Worlds. If you liked the original Jelly Car games, I highly recommend you check it out, as I don't think there are any good ways to get your hands on the original games anymore.
Gotta be one of the best videos you've made. It had several funny moments, and it also had me in shock seeing Where's My Mickey and Where's My Water 2 ranked that low. Either way, this video was awesome.
I’m really happy you think so! I love shocking people with rankings haha
There's a WMW nodding server where you can get all the spin-offs with cracked IAPs, also I don't have the time to watch the full vid rn but for the most part I enjoyed you talking about the first game, when I have the time I might do a full-on review
Yeah wish I knew about it before making the video, oh well
@@Jake.Miller You could do an update video and people would be fine with that

This could not have come out at a better time! This came out on my birthday today and is a great present! Thank you so much!
Happy birthday!!! I’m glad you like your present haha
THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING! THANKS FOR TALKING ABOUT WHERE’S MY WATER!
Great video mate! keep up the good work! I remember being obsessed with Perry the Platypus, and always playing that Perry game.
Thank you! Everyone had a perry phase haha
Where's my water 2 has actually been getting some (questionable) updates recently, they've removed the second level (dig deep), removed all the challenges in the Sewer, rearranged some levels, and changed the gate requirements, including removing keys altogether (although the android version still has the challenges, and keys).
i think i remember the 3rd "world" being locked behind a paywall?
@@IKER1000sYT Well, you could pay or watch 3 ads (with 24 hours between), or pay money. Now, those are gone, so you can unlock that world (or location) when you get a certain amount of ducks (like every other gate).
@@ego-lay_atman-bay i remember there being no way to watch ads to unlock it sadly
@@IKER1000sYT I guess you played before they changed it.
You just got a new sub i love the *mostly* family friendly content combined with the random adult humor! 10/10 bro

I remember playing the original Where's My Water, Where's My Perry, Where's My Mick Mack, Where's My Water 2 and some of the spin-offs. In other words: I played (pretty much) every Where's My Water game. This video give me memories.

Why were these delisted? Disney doesn’t need to license its own property.
Now this is a game I haven't heard of in years. It was the time when Mobile Games was at its peak. This game was up there as one of my most favorite games together with Geometry Dash, Shadow Fight 2, Hungry Shark, Smash Hit, Temple Run, Zombie Tsunami. When I realize it was made by disney, I always wondered why they didn''t continue to make more shorts of this simple yet fun and memorable game. Words can't express how much I've missed this game, I might just come back to it and play again one more time for the fun times and memories.
Yeah it’s definitely classic, I would’ve loved to see Swampy in more media!
Such a great video! The writing, critiques, and humor is excellent! I knew of this series growing up but never tried it. If the first game is just an actual buy-once game, not a microtransaction-y type thing like most games are, then I think I'll give it a go at some point! One suggestion for the future: maybe think about an upgrade to your microphone? You've gotten so much right with this video, a more clear mic is really just the last piece to put it all in place! Looking forward to whatever you make next
This took me back, thank you!!!
No problemo
Same! Kindle fire, I had that too 12:36 what memories, looking at the games no longer accessible nowadays
Good times, good times
11:55 pure speculation on my part, but i genuinely just think it was because the tagline "where's my water" happens to sound similar enough to "hey, where's perry?", the thing said in every episode of phineas and ferb, and i wouldn't be surprised if this was the only reason
Yeah I mentioned that coincidence in the video too! I’m not sure they’d make a whole game based on that phrase BUT I think it contributed in some way
This feels super Mandela Effect-esque, but when I was a kid, I remember seeing somewhere that some aspect of Where’s My Water was made by Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, which is why the character was named Swampy, and why Perry the Platypus became the main character. I can’t find any evidence of that now though 😅
excellent work, made me miss the game all the more. though i didn’t know there were so many
Thank you! They really made more than they had any right to haha
I played this really much, when I was young. Thank you so much😄
You’re welcome! Glad to remind you of your childhood games
Where’s my water suit?
WHERE. IS. MY. WATER SUIT??
_“Uhh… I've put it over there”_
5:55 - 6:02 That joke was insane. 😂
Haha a lot of people probably didn’t even catch it
21:18 Also, you're in love with a allegator and you can't deny that.
Have you ever turned algae into stone using ooze? Since we never got an ooze-based character, I once had a concept for one: an "artist" alligator who needed that particular mechanic to get stone so he could make stone sculptures.
The mickey and goofy spin offs were probably my favorite as a kid, i loved the whole concept with the stars, cranky like goofy concept and rainclouds. Sadly i didn’t have acess to much of the levels at all and mostly just demos but i replayed them so much. I cant ever forget those lemons.
Haha the lemons are engrained in my memory too
This made me replay the entirety of Where’s My Water (first game), and the fact that I even remember that the lil carvings in the collection menu give you secret levels was insane to me. I remember the first time getting a 100% when I was a kid. I spent so damn long playing this game lmao
You are insane for completing all of these. You earned my respect.
I will take your respect haha thank you
I loved watching the where’s my water cartoon shorts!
It’s interesting that the scroll bar still exists, it shows how we still thought at the time that stuff like that was needed
This is like the best where’s my (character) video of them all
You’ve been inspiring me to triduck the full first game. (Swampy only.)
13:30 Omfg I can't be the only one that recognized that clay game. You just unlocked a core childhood memory dude. It was- uh- it was something to do with getting the most clay at the end right? Damn, I was a fucking toddler when I played that on my mom's phone. I can't even remember what the gameplay was like but the _MOMENT_ I saw that artstyle the fuzzy memories instantly came back to me
I haven't watched the video yet, but I bet it's gonna be awesome
Can’t believe you bet correctly!!! You win!!!
i actually got my hands on where's my xiyangyang before where's my water and i was obsessed. not with the game as a whole, but just the bells.
34:00 i know Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf because thanks to TV Tropes (alongside with Homestar Runner, Freakazoid, Noonbory and the Super Seven, Boboiboy, Nu Pogodi, Wakfu, Kaeloo, Girl Genius, Sinfest, El Goonish Shive, The Order of the Stick, MST3K, Bionicle, Crayon Shinchan, Doraemon, FLCL, Epic Battle Fantasy, Touhou, KanColle, Puyo Puyo, Precure, and many many more that i can found on TV Tropes)
I actually had "Where's my Mickey" downloaded on my mom's work laptop before, and MAN did I play the crap out of that. Fun memories 😂.
So one idea I have about where's my Perry is Disney had a time waster "attraction" in Epcot where you go around the world showcase and use an app to get calls from characters in the game and to activate animatronics of Perry the Platypus and may have been a tie-in to that
34:37 I have a feeling SpongeBob might break that record someday
I have extremely fond memories of playing these games as a child, i remember having where's my water free, the perry and mickey spinoff, the valentines spinoff, and wheres my water 2 which i never got far in due to the keys. I thought the valentines spinoff was peak, looking back its really not 😭
Of course pair would be the only one in who has my summer finish. Some fun takes place mainly in the summer
Fun fact, wheres my perry was actually made to tie into a special going on at the time with the show. There was a huge cliff hanger finale where perry disappeared once he was shot with all of doofs -inators. There was all kinds of perry games on the Disney website at the time, and i remember this game being heavily advertised for the wait between the finale and the next seasons premiere
New Jake's video? Hype,hype!🤑
So freaking hype
@@Jake.MillerOMFG REAL JAKE MILLER ANSWERED MY COMMENT?!!!!I WILL NEVER WASH IT AGAIN🤑
The nostalgia I felt while watching this vid!
The lead designer of the series did a Q & A on discord a few years ago. When asked, he said they chose Perry the Platypus because they were told to do a Phineas and Ferb spin off and felt Perry made the most sense why he would be stuck underground with you needing to help him
Oh man I remember Where's my water and wheres my perry. Those games were like my first games on my phone when i was younger.
I had a swampy and cranky plushies back in the day. Also Where’s my Perry has the best sound track out of all of the Where’s My Water games. The theme music for the Doofenshmirtz levels is amazing. I would even say it is better than the one from the show. I redownloaded the game just to hear that theme music again. It is that good.
Wheres my water is one of the first mobile games i ever played. It really shows what a good mobile game is, with a small but funny storyline, simplistic yet addictive gameplay, and a bunch of great game variations that don’t decline in quality over time! (i’m looking at you angry birds)
Yeah no kidding. Keep things SIMPLE
It would be interesting in my opinion to see a tier list of FNAF games. Similar in type, but each has different mechanics, and the lore behind them is interesting if you dig deeper.
Yeah I think it would be fun too. It’s a LOT of games though…
The first time I played Where's My Water? was on Windows 8.1. I remember that The first game, the sequel, Mickey and Perry were in the Windows Store. For some reason, they made the whole first game free, so that's cool. Unfortunately, these don't work anymore (even on Windows 10) cause it can't verify if the apps are owned ig due to the Windows 8.1 store servers shutting down
Swampy, Perry, Water 2, and Mickey were nostalgic, all 4 games I played, yes even the holiday ones. But there’s one that was left out. Frankenweenie pack. It was a “The 10 days of Frankenweenie” a Halloween special on the free version of Where’s my water for a limited time. It was neat to play.
Wow you’re an expert! I did read about the Frankenweenie stuff and almost mentioned it in the video but felt the video was long enough as is haha. Plus I couldn’t play them anyways
Fun fact: Swampy has taken over 400+ baths in the entire game!
200 for the main levels, another 200 from the mystery duck levels and 400+ also implying the secret levels.
A Bloons tier list video sounds like a great idea! That series has a ton of different games that vary wildly in quality.
Very true. I feel like I gotta do it
19:09 LMAO the shade
Beautiful 😂
Haha I had to get my anger out on it, I’m over it now that I’ve gotten to vent and make jokes about it
One thing I think could be cool is a ranking video on all the Phineas and Ferb games that were on the Disney website, I remember there being a decent amount and kid me thinking they were fun
I wonder if there’s a way to play them these days?
@@Jake.MillerIf they're flash games, then they might be in the flashpoint archive. If not, you could try asking in the phineas and ferb game community server.
@@ego-lay_atman-baynot sure about the p+f games in particular but actually *most* Disney flash games are missing because a lot of them were taken down a few years before the death of flash so Flashpoint has far less than you'd expect.
I’ve play Where’s My Water and it’s sequel along with the Perry and Mickey versions but I never knew they had Valentines/Christmas or Summer apps with exclusive levels. It’s a weird move to port those levels in an exclusive app rather than the character’s main game. It’s probably why I never knew about them until you first mentioned it in the video.
Yeah they weren’t a big deal I’m not surprised you hadn’t seen them before!
They were in a different app because they were free promotions for the main game. I remember playing them because my parents wouldn't let me pay for the games and I had run out of levels in the free portions of the main two games at the time
I love the cutscene arts in the first game
Yeah super detailed drawings, I love them too
YESSS FNAF AND BLOONS TIERLIST PLEASEEE JAKE
The story of this vs cut the rope is the one quote of "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain"
I feel like temple run would be neat for you to cover because off the top of my head I can think of temple run, temple run 2, temple run+ if that counts, temple run OZ (That’s my personal favourite), temple run brave, and that one match 3 temple run on Apple Arcade I think
Oh yeahhhh there is a match 3 game! I do want to, we shall see
Well I mean. Perry is a semi-AQUATIC egg laying mammal of action.
I played this as a kid, it’s so nostalgic to me.

Imagine a Where’s My Water? level editor where you could switch sort of texture packs that would just be the other games. Then you could remake the entire series.
Maybe that’s why there were so many…
I’m proud you acknowledged there being two Swampy’s in this series.

OHHHH swampy from phineas
12:45 ahh yes I remember wholly, the game where I threw ice cubes into someone’s toosh
How could you forget haha
Omg i thought I remembered a muppet mobile game and you made me realize I wasn’t having a Mandela effect type thing
Yep it’s real, don’t forget that now
As a kid, I didn't even realise this was a Disney game. I just played it. Didn't even hit me after I played the Mickey spin off.
I loved the Mickey Mouse 2013 shorts!
I know they’re so gooood
These games are super nostalgic for me, I’ve played all of them except for where’s my summer (Yes, including the xyy one, that one was actually quite good). Where’s my Mickey and where’s my perry were some pretty fun crossovers and the original 2 are quite good also. I never really cared much for the holiday ones but this is a very good series overall in my opinion
Yeah they’re all great puzzle games, and individually they are each amazing. Only back to back do the flaws really stand out
Defo never expected to hear any Pleasant Sheep discussion today..

So freaking many
1:57 Fun fact water was the driving force of the creation of all living things, too
Ive no idea why, but my highschool drama class's wardrobe had a wheres my water plushie, and i dont think anyone knew where it was from
I love this game so much. Its one of my favourites
One weird thing is that I've just installed the XYY version of the game on my modern phone...but I had to do it by using adb with the "--bypass-low-target-sdk-block" command switch, because the game was made with a version of the Android SDK that's lower than the current version of the Android OS allows! But the two mainline games show up in the Play Store and can be installed from it just fine, no adb workaround shenanigans required! So for some reason, Disney appears to at least be keeping those two games just updated enough to continue being officially installable on current devices!
(For the record, despite needing the adb workaround to install, Where's My XYY works swimmingly on my S22)
The version I played the most was Where's My Perry. Idk why because I didn't watch Phineas and Ferb. But I'm glad it got a high rating on this video.
The main music for wheres my perry SLAPPED
I didn't know the LORE of Where's my water at all, I haven't played it since i was a kid!, But As a kid i thought Cranky was the mother of allie and swampy, apprently my kid brain was too small to analyse the cut scenes. 😅
Haha I could understand father but mother is pretty nuts
The difficulty spike in the 2nd game is wild
