I got into an argument with a coworker once about racism; she kept insisting that since I was white, I had no say in what was and wasn't racist, and had to take anything called racist at face-value and accept that it was. Keep in mind, she was also white. Now, while I am visibly white, I am also part of a cultural minority in my area that has had a very nasty history with the government for hundreds of years, and relations have only recently started to improve. There are still lots of people that look down on my demographic, but I won't go into the sociology or history of it for brevity's sake. I told her that she was discriminating against me because I was a part of that ethnicity, and since she was not, she couldn't tell me she wasn't discriminating. Not that I thought she actually was, but just use the logic she was following against her to prove a point. She threw a temper tantrum and accused me of being a white supremacist before storming off to complain about me to other coworkers and possibly my boss. Luckily, I never got fired, since she was notorious for starting fights like this lol I was a teenager at the time. She was a married mother of two, and was in her 40s. God help that family

About the "tea & milk" debate... A study was published on the matter. When you pour the milk onto the hot tea, the fist bit of milk get heated very fast and has no time or mass to dissipate the heat, leading to some of it getting denaturalised, which tastes awful. You could, hypotetically, pour in the milk so incredibly fast that this wouldn't happen, but in the end the whole thing comes down to the fact that a very small contact surface gets a lot of heat transfered through it, and that's the biggest hurdle: contact surface. It doesn't "prove" a thing. Whenever somebody uses this argument, I instantly know I'm dealing with a moron.

I was arguing someone on twitter in police shooting. As a Police supporter, this was one hell of good shooting, not going into a lot of detail but the suspect rushed at the officer with a knife, officer magdumped the guy cuz he kept rushing after being shot, turned out that guy was on mental distress or something. I literally saw tweets of "Officer should've shot the guy in the kneecap" or "He could've used the taser", which just proves that they don't know how bullets or tasers work. I explained why it's a dumb idea and they still say that's an excuse for murdering people. I just gave up because they never had an adrenalin rush nor shot a small, moving target, attached to a person while running backward Just in case you are one of the idiots: -Shooting in the leg is fatal as shooting in the chest (Femoral artery bleeds you out very very quickly) (Also if you missed artery, bullets will most likely hit your bone, which will turn into fragments and cut open the artery) -Shooting a thin, small target is a hard thing. Now add adrenalin rush, and the leg is moving, attached to someone that is rushing to kill you. It's a very hard shot, even for experts with countless hours of practice -If bullets miss, they can ricochet, hit someone else, or in case of an officer hit the leg, bullet can penetrate, ricochet and hit someone else -Tasers don't always work. There are two prongs in each taser, and it has to make contact ON YOUR SKIN, which if the suspect is wearing a jacket, it doesn't work. And even if the officer made contact, people with mental illness, drugged, drunk really don't get affected by the taser. And there are people who are just immune to tasers.

Okay so my grandpa died when I was 7 because of cancer okay and it was very heart breaking and I had another cousin(lily) who was the same age as me and one 3 years older(max) then me. 6 years after he died we got together and started talking shit about our relatives. Then some how we got to the conversation of my grandpa’s and grandma’s relationship. We started talking about there 16 year age gap when they got married and lily was absolutely mad about it calling it pedophilia. But me and max kept on arguing that they absolutely loved each other to death so it didn’t really matter but she didn’t accept it and just kept on going off about it and how it’s wrong she ended up said “ look he died when she was only 30 because of old age” which was not true and made no sense because they are only 16 years apart and when she was 30 he was 46 and he died when he was 71 because of cancer not old age. Me and max kept on telling her he died when he was 71 and because of cancer but kept on saying that he died because of old age when he was 46 and my grandma was 30. Me and max just gave up and that point and realized that she is so stupid and stubborn. It’s all I got but yeah

I was arguing someone on twitter in police shooting. As a Police supporter, this was one hell of good shooting, not going into a lot of detail but the suspect rushed at the officer with a knife, officer magdumped the guy cuz he kept rushing after being shot, turned out that guy was on mental distress or something. I literally saw tweets of "Officer should've shot the guy in the kneecap" or "He could've used the taser", which just proves that they don't know how bullets or tasers work. I explained why it's a dumb idea and they still say that's an excuse for murdering people. I just gave up because they never had an adrenalin rush nor shot a small, moving target, attached to a person while running backward
Just in case you are one of the idiots:
-Shooting in the leg is fatal as shooting in the chest (Femoral artery bleeds you out very very quickly) (Also if you missed artery, bullets will most likely hit your bone, which will turn into fragments and cut open the artery)
-Shooting a thin, small target is a hard thing. Now add adrenalin rush, and the leg is moving, attached to someone that is rushing to kill you. It's a very hard shot, even for experts with countless hours of practice
-If bullets miss, they can ricochet, hit someone else, or in case of an officer hit the leg, bullet can penetrate, ricochet and hit someone else
-Tasers don't always work. There are two prongs in each taser, and it has to make contact ON YOUR SKIN, which if the suspect is wearing a jacket, it doesn't work. And even if the officer made contact, people with mental illness, drugged, drunk really don't get affected by the taser. And there are people who are just immune to tasers.

So I was in online class, and this one kid kept on correcting everyone’s grammar/spelling mistakes (if you do this you are an absolute b) so this 1 time I argued with him about it and he said “Shut up, you don’t have anything interesting to say!” I said “Do you?” Which I thought was a great comeback line, but he was too dumb to understand and just said “Huh? I’m confused.” At that point I tried to explain it to him and after that he just said “It’s asked, not aksed.” So I stopped 😂
OMGG I HAVE ONE. Okay so my grandpa died when I was 7 because of cancer okay and it was very heart breaking and I had another cousin(lily) who was the same age as me and one 3 years older(max) then me. 6 years after he died we got together and started talking shit about our relatives. Then some how we got to the conversation of my grandpa’s and grandma’s relationship. We started talking about there 16 year age gap when they got married and lily was absolutely mad about it calling it pedophilia. But me and max kept on arguing that they absolutely loved each other to death so it didn’t really matter but she didn’t accept it and just kept on going off about it and how it’s wrong she ended up said “ look he died when she was only 30 because of old age” which was not true and made no sense because they are only 16 years apart and when she was 30 he was 46 and he died when he was 71 because of cancer not old age. Me and max kept on telling her he died when he was 71 and because of cancer but kept on saying that he died because of old age when he was 46 and my grandma was 30. Me and max just gave up and that point and realized that she is so stupid and stubborn. It’s all I got but yeah
