Such a cosy, well rounded and crafted episode, Emma! You managed again to strike a perfect balance in all the sections! Ihad been looking forward to your finished “Flax light” jumper to hear your conclusions and it definitely helped me make up my mind to have a go in Drops Nord so I am off to check the colour charts! Have a relaxing weekend!

Watching from a sunny Suffolk... though I used to live in Hove actually - love that yarn! Your jar of minis is just dreamy, as is the newest collection of bags. I'm so enjoying the Ken Follet you kindly passed on - may take it into the sun and read more later today. Happy weekend!

Waiting for rain isn’t too lacey. I’m in Florida , was on the pacific side of the states and now we are here. Big change

Thank you for watching! I like the Waiting For Rain shawl, I made one maybe a couple of years ago and it’s been one of my most worn shawls. Hope you are enjoying the change of state.

Great podcast. I love NORD too and your flax light is super! I needed a wrap for just the same event. I’m knitting the GÄRD wrap, rectangular, by Melanie Berg & it’s beautiful, no lace!

  • @caroline.seasidegirlknits

Lovely to catch up with you and your projects Emma 😊 I've got a couple of lace wrap patterns in my favourites - Starlight by Janina Kalio and In Good Company by Espace Tricot (which is a free pattern). The latter is written for 2 strands of lace held double to make light fingering but I reckon it would work for 1 strand of lace by maybe just dropping a needle size? Your fabric choices are beautiful, as always. I immediately thought of Delft blue pottery when I saw those animals 💙 And Squirrel Nutkin! Xx

Thank you for watching lovely and great recommendations! I have the Janina Kalio patter and didn’t think of that one 🤔 And I love most of the Espace Tricot patterns so will go and have a look at that one. Delft has been at the back of my mind - that and Wedgewood. I’ll need to come up with a name very soon! 💚

Only just found you’re shop and podcast. Love both the collections, the blue and white collection, how about hedgewood for a name. Definitely going to look out for the release of them.😀.I’m in Warrington in Cheshire, knitting a no frills sweater at the minute, great pattern, simple but fits really well, on my second one. 😀
