HVAC HEAVEN - Tons of Air Conditioners at a Huge Office Complex

- Here is my final video of cooling season 2023. This is a video of this ENTIRE huge complex that I film at sometimes. A few years ago I made a video of some of the units here and called it "part 1", but I never uploaded part 2. Now that it's been so long, I figured I'd re-film the whole place and upload it as one huge video. I have startups of individual units here, videos of some of them running, as well as the "part one" video from a long time ago. So now you are seeing the whole thing. I still post some of the other videos filmed here at the bottom of the description.
Anyway, this place is huge and there is a huge variety of units here, new and old. Lennox and Rheem seem to be the most common. There's mostly straight cool air conditioners but a few heat pumps. I got lots running in this video. But I hope you enjoy, because this is almost an hour of air conditioners! I hope you watch at least most of it; do it in more than one sitting if you have to. With all of that being said, enjoy!
Recorded May 13th and May 28th, 2023.

Epic Video!! the ICP at 39:15 looked just like the condenser my house came with! Those old York Tombstone unit's are solid made units, rare & unique, a VERY inefficient design, pulling air in and blowing it out the coil made those units like 4-6 SEER at the most , the unit you found is from the early to late 1980s, being a beige/tan color ,as the older ones from the 70s tend to be a green color, some were even heat pumps. I saw quite a few when i went to Arizona back in the 2010s, where i live i have only seen maybe 1 or 2. The old Inter-City unit with a rotary compressor, being a 1 ton is a rare find too!
Thank you! Thanks for the info, and yeah I agree, there are some awesome units here. The age on the Tombstone makes sense because that's when this place was built (late 80s). Nice to hear from you again!
Ok so recently i became intrested in weather/storm sirens and i decided to revisit this channel
Nice video, Love the vintage Rheems and this York Tombstone was the real star of the show! The round ICP/Arcoaire units (except the one with a rotary) have Bristol.
Thanks!
Those stamped octagons with the flag logo goes way back for me, like 2013 because at my occupational therapy building there were 3 (well originally 4 but one got replaced with a Goodman with a extremely sweet sounding Bristol in 2014) and they had those flag logos, another one of the 4 got replaced with a platform last year
stamped octagon productions
24:35 sweet sounding Bristol with a high pitched ring with minimal fan noise the 2 bladed zephyr was that but louder and higher pitched, either higher or the same I unfortunately don’t know that off of the top of my head
Yep, I knew you would like that
This would be such an awesome place to catch startups at... would be real nice to see startups from that rotary Arcoaire and that York tombstone. You hit the jackpot at this complex
Thank you! Yeah, I have gotten several startups before. I will try for those that you suggested someday.
14:42 lol the carrier is trapped, I remember when my 2013 2 ton looked that new, I never would’ve thought those had 2 compressors also I wonder how well that 1804 covers with the condensers in the way
Yeah it's an interesting setup.
So do you know how I felt when I wanted to catch a better startup of the 2016 2.5 ton York?
Yeah it sucks. The one I think you were referring to here ended up still being there though
4:02 Those little dryer vents above the A/C units make me wonder why the hell do they need a dryer for every room? Lol.
That is odd, I don't know lol
@@dilchproductions No worries. Lol.
21:15 the zephyrs were from 2005 as well as far as I can remember
Isn't it kind of odd they left that large tube sticking up out of the ground especially since it's so tall?
Yeah. It's from a central AC unit that they for some reason took out, but left the line set. It actually comes out of the wall of the building and goes all the way to the ground.
You definitely hit the jackpot at this complex, there are lots of cool units there. Would love to see some startups of the York tombstone and Arcoaire round unit
Thanks!
theres even a york tombstone!
Yep!
@@dilchproductions i didnt watch the full video, are there any trane XL I units?
I don't believe so. The closest there are to those are American Standard Platinum units.
@@dilchproductions trane and american standard and trane are the same damn brand lol
I know
49:58 If you listen very closely, I think that was the York Tombstone starting up!!!
I listened closely with headphones but I didn't really hear anything (besides the car's AC clicking at 49:59, was that what you heard?)
Mabye@@dilchproductions
I know that they have been replaced so don’t feel upset
I have never seen a Trane Unit with an LG Scroll
Trane uses them a lot now. You can tell by the green label.
Nothing wrong with the LGs. As long as they are evacuated and charged properly they last. They are also quieter than the alliance scrolls especially when switching into and out of defrost.
I disagree, I think Copeland Scrolls are better compressors. I've seen a lot more LGs fail prematurely. I'd rather a louder but more reliable compressor.
@@dilchproductions he is a maniac disrupting us two

The one on the left of the carrier is (equalvent to about 3.1 Tons)
Wow
46:46 Is That A Broad Ocean Motor?
As far as I know Tech2000s didn't use Broad Ocean motors. It's probably a GE.
Then Why Does It Look Like A Goodman Fan Blade
We should make this complex in Roblox
There wouldn't be enough models for all the different ones here
Yea
Jesus crist! An hour!!!
Yep, so many units! An hour of air conditioners lol
