Wheres the day 2 review?
Why would you record a day’s summary before the day is up? Just wait the extra 30 mins and then hit record?
I can think of several reasons.
1) it's not a summary of the day it's more of a casual chat about the goings on of the day.
2) there are so many other interviews and shows that happen after the close that you will probably struggle to find broadcasters/guests available to chat.
3) "just wait an extra 30 mins" turns into an extra hour at the end of the day not only for the presenters but also the camera crew, sound crew, producers, editors, etc etc.
It's not like waiting til the end of the day would have changed much of the content of the discussion anyway so you're just complaining for no reason.

1) It’s clearly a programme to discuss the day’s play. Makes no sense to do it while play is still going on.
2) Sky is a private broadcast company who are extremely well paid for showing only half of England’s cricket - they and their staff can afford to stay behind for an extra 30 mins.
3) I don’t understand your maths. 30 mins does not magically become one hour - it remains 30 mins. Unless you think the Sky broadcasters have magically invented a way to create time…?

@@MxolelanisiMzanywa She’s freelance. She presents cricket for the BBC though during the UK Summer. I believe she works for Fox Cricket in Australia during the Winter.
Pope is overated!! Pope was dropped twice and looked pretty frantic at the crease. Not exactly a faultless batting performance. I don't rate him, I think he is pretty average number 3 who gets found wanting by better teams. Let's be honest this summer is a stats pad summer for England's bowlers and batters averages. Shame because I think West Indies can be a good team. Poor.
He’s been the best three we’ve had in a while. Go look at his big scores…as well as a hundred today. The greats get dropped and go on to make big scores so it’s crazy to say he’s I’ve rated just cos of some drops
I don’t rate him either. I just wish we could finally unearth a great batsman. There hasn’t been one since Cook (even he was declining in a slow decline towards the end bar two memorable doubles).

@callmejay1828 he's inconsistent and when he plays against a fully prepared test playing nation his vulnerabilities will be exposed. Yes he made a brilliant century against India In Hydrabad in the first test but what did he do after that. He's far too figity and seems so uncomfortable at the crease. It's a good job these WI bowlers are undercooked otherwise he would be in big trouble
