The only reason why I'm replying to this is because, you make Eddie out to be a saint which he wasn't and most people when writing a book don't leave anything out so they can give you a true account of their lives. Sammy loved Eddie as a brother and Eddie chose to abuse his body with substances and Sammy stood by him until it wasn't feasible anymore.
