    I am confused, doesn't the fps vary with the different bb weights? like you cannot have 700 fps from the same gun with different bb weights.If you have 700fps with 0.12 bbs you got 2.72 joule but if you got 700 fps from 0.25 bbs you got 5.66 joule. In my opinion it doesn't matter to say what your fps are, when not saying what the bb weight was that achieved it, that doesn't make sense, does it? Just say how much joule the gun has. I might have gotten something wrong though, I am pretty new to airsoft.

    • @airsoftvseverything
      @airsoftvseverything  Před rokem +1

      "700fps - " is my basic title for my videos. You are right, my airsoft gun is not 700fps with every bb weight, its between 700-710fps with 0.20g bb.
      With 0.20g bb Joule is around 4,6, but with 0.90g steel bb, it can produce 6,1-6,3 Joule

      @friedrichalexander730 Před rokem +1

      @@airsoftvseverything Thx for the fast answer, I am currently trying to lern some stuff about all of these parameters in airsoft. This would mean my 1,46 joule KWC 1911 A1 TAC produces significantly more joule with 0.32bbs but significantly less fps compared to 0.20 bbs. But I guess I can't control that without a chrono sadge, have a good one mate. And keep up the fun vids!

    • @airsoftvseverything
      @airsoftvseverything  Před rokem +1

      @@friedrichalexander730 This is called the "joule creep". You can get more energy with heavier bbs. (but not in every case) As I read, 0.32g is the perfect bb for you + you will have higher shooting distance. Anyway, fps is just a number.

    I came here to see & hear how you obtained 700 FPS with an AirSoft BB Gun. All I saw was some cards that my eyes are too bad and my phone is too small to make heads nor tails of anything. Most often I could not see if the papers had holes in it or not. Somehow y'all videos need to figure out that just because you know does not mean your viewers know. Watching from their phones may not see anything well enough and remember more folks watch from phones than computers. Many can't even take your word for it because you are not speaking. And for a moment I was going to subscribe... for a moment. I have bought the too high priced GFSMG and I will be modifying it soon. I will also make a video depicting what I did and how it helped the FPS. I am also going to put in a rifled Barrel, getting rid of the buck stop block thing that is so lame. Possibly altering the Hop Up or eliminating it as well... because most of this Tommy gun is horribly engineered. I am a self taught engineer, but my son has an engineers sheep's skin. He watched me modifying just about everything for years. I was intrigued with the AEG guns and only after purchasing one did I fully understand the horrible the engineering is that went into making these things so very bad. For Years I listened to folks talk about using a BB or Pellet gun for home defense and how they are nothing more than a bad bluff. Understanding guns I realize the right BB or Pellet gun could effectively be used for home defense and in doing so allows viable protection that is considered non-lethal and its importance. Obstacles prevent viability of a rifle or shot gun from being effective... along with that PCP pistols are not ideal either. However they could be made viable by reducing them in size and to 6 shots. However CO² pistols are even worse as they tend to bleed down. The PCP could also have that trait making it ineffective. Spring powered pistols are no good and neither are break Barrels. Too big and cumbersome. AEG pistols (Electric) could work great but they have that orange bluff and horrible FPS, But use a large caliber... have it as a larger Caliber 30 ~50 maintain most of the low FPS . The .177 and the 6mm AirSoft don't qualify. The .177 because it penetrates too deep and the 6mm Plastic BB SIMPLY because the ammo is... well Plastic. And the PaintBall Guns because they are too recognizable and often CO² ALLOWONG an intruder to become an Attacker is the major Flaw of BB & Pellet guns. Does anyone understand the 20 foot rule? If an attacker is within 20 feet before you know the intruder is about to become an attacker. With current types of BB Pellet and so forth guns... it is a 40 ft rule. And that us unacceptable..

      Hi! Thanks for your comment! I always welcome helpful feedbacks and comments... Sadly, you dont like certain things, but you are the first one who's complaining about this.
      "Most often I could not see if the papers had holes in it or not"
      - I cant show every holes for seconds because that would be a really long and boring video for a lot of viewers, thats why I indicated with big orange numbers on the side, above the papers, how many papers the bb penetrated"
      "I came here to see and hear how you obtained 700fps with an airsoft bb gun"
      - I have a "whats inside my gun" video. Here's the link.
      czcams.com/video/Dx7tjrezgnc/video.html
      "cant even take your word for it because you are not speaking"
      - My english is really bad, sorry. So, I will never talk in videos, thats why I usually put every infos/results in the end of the videos or video description, sometimes in the comments.
      Even my grammar is not perfect.
      Rifled barrel will not work in airsoft because they cant produce that much energy to spin the bb properly. Lead is still softer than plastic bbs.
      Airsoft, 4,5mm bb guns or smaller caliber pellet pistols/rifles are not suitable for self defense at all. Maybe a lucky shot to the attackers eye would do something...
      If you finish your interestin project, please, share with me, I would like to watch it! :)
