I've always imagined a version exactly like this and I had no idea someone actually made it. I absolutely love the melodic part of this song but I don't really listen to non-melodic dubstep anymore, which held me off from putting the original song in my playlist. my dad showed me this song when i was 6 years old, i didn't like it at all because of the dubstep part. One time i was just listening to music, i was 12, (im 14 now) and suddenly, randomly, that memory came to my mind, and i searched up the song, i really don't kmow how i remembered the name, but now this song gives me chills and kinda makes me sad.. it makes me look back at all the things i did together with my father, he really liked skrillex's music, and dubstep in general, but mostly liked skrillex's songs. I listen to dubstep now, because i like it, and because it brings back memories... my dad is not with me anymore

I discovered this version yesterday and I don't know why but I started crying remembering my childhood...I used to listen to skrillex a lot and this melody just made me happy and kinda sad for the time that went flying

when people say "dubstep is dead" this is what that is. this video and it's comment section perfectly shows what a dead genre looks like. i am a dubstep fan, and even i am acknowledging that the genre i enjoy is dead and most people not only don't like it but they go out of their way to remove it from songs.
dubstep will live on forever in some way as long as there is someone who enjoys it and someone who makes it. but it will also be barely alive.

There are also rock n roll and try it out wich are More melodical, but I aggree that summit is the best original Song by Skrillex. Scary Monsters and nice spirites without dubstep is my favorite, this is More of a timeless classic as dubstep in my opinion was just a trend around 2010-2015

Skrillex is definitely the best dubstep artist in the world. Im glad I was born in the 2000s
Don't get me wrong the original was great when I was younger. Nowadays I just get a headache listening to dubstep so this is a great way to still listen to the song, just without the headaches. Strangely, I don't get headaches from listening to metal though. Not yet at least.

To this day one of the smoothest most satisfying pieces of sensory pleasure i know of. There’s just something with that beat/riff/melody that just makes my head feel absolutely out of this world. And the purest form of nostalgia for me.

Like the song normally fine but the best part of the song is the non dubstep parts so this is amazing.
Right now in 2021, where dubstep sounds so outdated and weird. It feels good hearing this right now as its instrumentals are really catchy on its own, as listening back to the original and its drop feels a bit cringy now.
