- Introducing Tom's new moderator - the Freyr & Devik Ultimate Silence 3D 231. This moderator is made from 3D printed Grade 4 Titanium, making it not only one of the lightest moderators on the market, but possibly one of the most robust. In this video Tom introduces us to the new moderator and highlights some of its key attributes.

Hello. Looks a nice neat moderator. What's the price and thread options?.
@@kris308100 for the UTS they range from £435 to £580. The featherweights are slightly less. The thread options are listed on the Cluny Country Sports website but include all the usual contenders (18x1, 14x1, 1/2x28, 15x1, 17x1, 1/2x20 etc.).
Please can you compare the 232 to your smaller one in the merkel? I have a 149 and want to know if it’s worth the money for the upgrade in sound reduction.

Total garbage the F&D mods.
They melt inside very quickly. The “titanium” part so small there is more meat on a butchers pencil.
The customer support…non existent.
I have f&d mod on a .308 the baffles are getting eroded/gas cùt away very quickly I'm very disappointed
Got to admit, that hasn’t been our experience at all! We’ll keep you posted on our long term review though. Cluny Country Sports are the UK importer and were very communicative with us.
Not tried the F&D so won’t comment, but I do like the Hausken, ultra light and good sound reduction.

@@jamescorfield4075 how old is the moderator? We have a 149 that’s been fitted to a 308 for a few years and it’s good as new and gets a lot of work…
