I literally just came across ya 2 days ago and instantly binge watched every single episode of the building of the homemade trailer because that is actually something that I'm about to do and you literally just taught me everything I really need to do and this is my first trailer I'm attempting to build. I learn fast so all I did was watch each episode once and I've already begun. I'm doing a totally different kind of style/design just cause I've been thinking for a long time about what I would do and how over the top this is going to be. I will show pics of the finished trailer when it's complete.
Thanks for the videos and I hope to see more! Appreciate you helping me out showing things that I need to do or should do when building the trailer that I'm sure I would have not done some not knowing just maybe 1 or 2 things but loved how u showed in great detail each and every project that you wanted for yourself which u pretty much just showed me the correct way of doing certain things. Anyways thanks 👍🤙

Scout looks just like my late Vizsla Cody. He was a 9 year old rescue when I took him home. He lived to be 14. Enjoy your pups, it looks like you sure do.

Hey Scott, You inspired me to build a trailer, I told my wife 'Honey we are building a trailer ' after she stopped laughing she says I should start with trying to make our bed first....lol. Great videos!!

Please bring Ridge on an adventure, he’s just a happy go lucky Vizsla goofball. Been following you for years now and actually found you because of your Vizslas. Had two Vizsla’s, lost one of them a year ago, still miss him like crazy.

In a trailer that size storage is everything. I would mount a thin plywood sheet under the bedframe 2x4s creating 4 nice sized spaces. I would then cut the bed plywood lengthwise about 10 inches from the wall and put hinges. You could then lift it up and get fairly easy access. I would keep things like ropes blankets shackles and such there.

As a chronic overbuilder myself, I like how solid you are making the trailer. I just worry about how much this thing is going to weigh when you are done. Looking good.

Looking good! I appreciate you taking the quality over quanity approach on your build videos. I'm close to pulling the trigger on a large yurt tent with stove so my 2 GSPs and I can enjoy bird hunting late into the season. Hoping you and the family are surving these weird times over the border. So magical how time spent in the wild can put all our nonsense to rest when we choose to unplug and truly live how we were created to live.✌️💪

Highly recommend a Kreg jig instead of drilling through the whole 2x4. They are awesome for building cabinets. Great job on the camper keep it up

Looking good. Slide out looks like it will be pretty cool. Do you think it will prove heavy enough to need a set of legs on the end when deployed? Maybe fold down like a card table?

screwing into endgrain doesn't seem right but i'm sure it's sufficient for this application. An alternative would have been pocket screws.
