    • @JasonTAho
      @JasonTAho Před 2 lety +2

      Alot of truck tanks don't have baffles. I imagine the shape of the tank being cylindrical somewhat negates the need, and the pickup tubes are usually located near the bottom in the middle of the tank, so running out of fuel is only a concern when you're close to empty anyway

    Это писец. В баках (надо полагать, оригинальных топливных баках), используемых как подставки, есть перемычки для ограничения бултыхания топлива. Тут этого нет. Мало того, вырезав кусок металла, он упал внутрь и его не достали.

      (and yes I have experience welding in stick, MIG and even oxyfuel because I asked my grandfather to teach me although declared me mad. But I would never run a rig like that. Didn't even see a flashback arrestor and that tank looked about 30-ish liter in size. If that go boom, it go boom big)

      This is actually an example of how sloppy practice makes good. The main danger with acetylene is that with excess pressure it will self-detonate. That home-made producer doesn't look like it can make much pressure at all, and operating pressure is set with gravity - the weight of the upper part.

    The problem with china is that they make cheap copies of japanese/German/American tech. The worse problem of the subcontinent and the Africa is that they make make even cheaper copies of chinese tech.

    I wouldn't buy one of those tanks. They are made of thin poor quality steel. Poor craftsmanship. Poor welding.
    Poor design. No internal support or baffle. So as your driving the fuel is sloshed front to back which will make this weak tank even weaker.
    If its from Pakistan or India its worst quality. India and Pakistan. Make copies
    Of motorcycle sidecars that are dangerous and horrible quality and build.
    They use rusty metal and paint over it. Welds are garbage. Paint is falling off during shipping. The hardware they send is rusty and poor quality steel.
    I would never buy anything made there. Also Pakistan and India make and sell
    The worst quality leather goods on the planet. I know a guy who bought a leather bike jacket from ebay that came from Pakistan. The stitching looked it was done by a blind man. It fell apart after a few days. The leather had a foul smell.
    And the dye cam e off on his clothes and skin. Pure trash.
