Brilliant video George. Boo Hoo is a slightly mad shop.Barry the owner is 81 & a right character. It’s totally hit & miss, but if you catch it right you can really strike lucky. Great you did some PR for Vinilo, decent shop, they need to work on the vintage shop a bit, they don’t have a ‘New Arrivals’ section which is a crime. £14.99 for More Specials is great, will be £35 plus soon. I might have snatched that Eyeless In Gaze if I’d seen it. I’m sure I’ll bump into you one day!

Hi George, Thanks for the shout out! If you are going through my videos just avoid the one I talk about the white stripes back catalogue with my daughter 😅. Its not great and it will break her heart if I take it down.
Get on the vinyl tag, it’s not too late there are still people putting up there video and it’s a great way to get new viewers.
The fair was packed that day, it’s great to see but at the same time you are worried in case people are picking out the good stuff.
Some great finds, some are completely new to me and I’ll be checking them out shortly.
Great video, you can just make out the back of my head as you panned the camera across the record fair.

Absolutely packed from the start that fair, even from 9:30 when I turned up. I think people have realised this unofficial 'early doors' - that's the way it is.

Hi George, I've not been to the Southampton fair since it moved to the 1865 but your video has got me interested. I go to plenty of the other USR fairs. Clive is a great dealer with quality records at fair prices. Would love to stumble across an OG of the Vashti album but unlikely. Hatfield and the North is on my want list. Richard is a very nice man. A quality set of records there, cheers Dale

I agree re Clive, never come away empty handed from his stall, there is always something of interest there.
It'll be interesting the future of 1865 as this seemed to me to be at absolutely capacity, both dealers and punters. Well worth a visit if you can - it's always good to know exactly when it's going to be on.

Some nice pickups George. Rotters, Beck, Specials are in my collection and are fantastic. Fancy you meeting Martin and Mike, two of my VC friends! Great channels they have. One of my wishes for 2023 is to meet up with some fellow CZcams VC vloggers. Really enjoy your shows when you travel to record fairs. Cheers.

Hi George, It's never too late to do the Vinyl Tag. Enjoyed your story of meeting the other collectors. Wish I was there. Slowing down on buying records for a while seems to be a theme in the VC at the moment. I hear a few people say those very same things as you have. It is a good time to delve deep into your collection and get to know those records much better. Cheers

Hi George, great to have another video from you. Some nice pick-ups there. I think the second Hatfield album (Rotters Club) is a stronger effort than the first but both essential listening. I think you will like Vashti Bunyan- beautiful voice- beautiful, gentle songs. I only have it on CD. Funnily enough I have just returned from a record buying trip to Glasgow and passed on a copy of Steve Hillage’s Open because there was slight damage on the die-cut. I did purchase on vinyl Be Bop Deluxe- Futurama, Amboy Dukes- Marriage On The Rocks, Sharks first album. Illusion- Out Of The Mist, Rabbit- Broken Arrows and Rare Earth- Band Together plus 1 or 2 more. Thanks for the links to the other guys - I will subscribe to them. With regard to IRS, the early material by R.E.M is on that label. Please keep posting with your listening sessions- always good to know what’s on your turntable. Best regards.

I believe the VC's Harris Pilton was at the record fair too ???
None of those with this one and didn't see it in the one turned down last year. Shame.
Harris was there, regular as ever (see latest vid), but sadly didn't spot him.
