    A great tip is to use the mod envelope on shape in sine mode - makes the sweep from sine to kind of sawtooth, pretty similar to a non resonant LP sweep on a saw. Then you can use the filter for doing other things. ;)

      Very nice. The more I look at this synth, the more I love it because you can find creative ways to model the sound with what you could have thought is a limited modulation synth. The waves sound so good, the filters seem really amazing, and there is still an extra lfo used for the effect section I believe and in the end, when you have a beautifull raw sound, this apparent limited modulation is way more than enough.

    Any idea how to assign filter cut off to Mod envelope....? is it possible on the A1 as it has no dedicated filter ADSR Envelope...

    I love the sound of this synth. Only drawback for me is the envelope not having any decay. Do you feel it was limiting you in a lot of ways when creating sounds on the Nord Lead A1?

      i didn't get hung up on that detail, but generally i prefer the controls of the NL2.

      @@WoodyPianoShack ok, now is time that I dig on the Nl2 to compare. Thanks!

      I don't understand why Clavia prefered ADR/ADS envelopes instead ADSR.
      I friend sold his one for this reason :/

    hello! thank you for the video
    is the envelope modulation also used to adjust the filter envelope?

    • @WoodyPianoShack
      @WoodyPianoShack  Před 2 lety

      don't remember the details, but usually you assign an envelope to adjust the filter, or assign modulation to adjust the filter. it sounds like you might be confusing the two?

      @@WoodyPianoShack ...hello salut! thank you very much it's very nice to answer me so quickly and to follow the comments!
      ...yes in fact I'm looking for the filter envelope on the A1 ...there is an amp envelope ok but where is the envelope attack decay for the filter to make the filter slam!!! (the secret for very sharp bass ...chutttt! ;) ) if I can put it that way... where is the filter envelope?
      sorry for the stubborn question... haha!!! (and for english^^ i try to faire pour le mieux!)
      anyway ...en tout cas merci beaucoup pour la réponse it's cool! ;)
