I just finished all of your videos on the racing mower. My hat is off to you. I am a machinist by trade and I have also built a kart for my daughter. Took me 5 yrs to build in my spare time. Every part cnc'd, tig welded, and the like. Still my hat is off to you. What a great job on the finished product. Anyone can build with with the machines I have. Only a pro can build like you did. What a work of art.

the throttle linkage is bypassing the governor anyways, governor doesnt even need to be removed to be bypassed into full throttle all the time whenever you want

The last gokart that I built had a 50 HP snowmachine engine, Snow Jet, I thinik, the frame with was just wide enough for the stock muffler to fit between the rails. I used ATV rims and tires. I used the stock clutch on the engine and ran a "hot" live axle, and I used a toothed belt. Brakes were on the rear tires, Simple sheet metal curved shoes pulled tight against the tires. It didn't turn to well under power but it the dirt, if you stomped on it the powerslids were a blast.
Awesome build, great speed, beautiful looking machine and awesome sound. you are very talented. BUT wear a motorbike jacket bro, you might be a bit hot and sweaty, but it will keep you in one piece should you come out of that beast. really do.

That things cool! It's a progression from playing with stock mowers to building one that's more race than mow. That thing does launch real good, that converter is very nice I see. I dig all your builds, except this mower, it's doable stuff for minimal tools and money. You can go as mild or as wild as you want , or have a budget for. Either way you are gonna have fun!
Nice Job! I am going to build one too. I have a connection with the Guy who owns the Dump. I picked up a Suzuki Quad for suspension and Rear End parts. I also have a Yard King mover for a Body. I am still looking for an Engine - Transmission setup. I had a CB - 350 Honda but I sold it. Where I live I shouldn't have a problem using it on the Street without a License as long as I keep it looking like a Lawn Mower. Mine won't be as low as yours is because I will have to run it with the mower deck in the summer and a Blade in the Winter so the Sheriff can't Bust me for riding an unlicensed ATV or Go kart on the Street. So far I have $0.00 invested.
dude ...awesome build! ive been racing karts for over 16 years and use the same engine that you have in the mower ....get with me and i can get that thing lined out or get you some parts that would wake it up!
it has 10* castor, and the camber is built into the spindles. but it still wont turn well in tight spots, works good at high speeds though. It has a Tav2 CVT clutch made by Comet Clutch The motor is a honda gx200, and it has a bunch of stuff done to it... ARC adj. billet flywheel, bored carb and exhaust ports, ARC connecting rod @ .020" over stock length, the head was planed .010", valve job, and a mild cam. it was dyno'd @ 13.5 hp It goes about 45mph right now.

it has one, it's there if you look hard enough, it's made of 1/4" steel and it's removable so you can service the top end.
