this is the first i've ever seen Guy with a magic build. Usually he's the "hit things really hard with physicals" kind of person.

It really is, but for my part he attacks with much more damage if he performs the Flare magic, than if he attacks with his axe. 😉😉😉

I’ve tried also sometimes Guy has more in magic than physical build and Maria has more strength rather than magic.

I remember the final boss is actually easy to beat if you have the blood sword.

Yes, just like the other bosses with a lot of HP, due to his Drain ability. A good weapon that will help you pass this complex game due to its status increase system. 😖😖😖

I didn't know that and he's not too much trouble if you have Flare and Ultima. His magic attacks are very weak for this stage of the game, which essentially gives you a free turn to damage him.

The main game was too easy but oh boy did they go overboard on the bonus quest. The first area has seriously limited recovery items and powerful enemies. That's not enough as you immediately have a harder version of the final dungeon with early game party members. This means a lot of grinding to stand a chance.

All for the game mechanics to level up the statuses separately. But despite that, I loved that this alternate story has these characters. 🤩🤩🤩

Yes, the PSP version is amazing!!! It even has a final secret boss more than the GBA version. And the graphics are a bit better. Recommended!!! 🤩🤩🤩

For me it is the worst of the first, but only because of its leveling system. If the new versions remove it, it would be a very good game. 😣😣😣😣
