Hi Sharma, I have created a VM in Azure but I'm facing problem with the GITbash, when I'm trying to give path of .pem file it is saying no such file or directory found, almost I have spent 2 hours but could not do that. please help with this. Thank in advance
@@KBK23 please give the path properly... Like you have to save pem file in Download folder and in the git bash run the command first..
cd Downloads
Then run the command
ssh -i first-vm_key.pem azureuser@publicip
@@KBK23 save the pem file in the Download folder and in git bash run the command
cd Downloads
Then ...
ssh -i (name of pem file) azureuser@publicip

Even i faced same issue but later i found that i have given wrong path sometimes bash is already referring to downloads folder

so, this is a strange behavioral issue of GitBash in Windows to resolve it always specify complete path for the target file in double quotation marks like "*Complete Target File Path including DRIVE path as well*" this lets the commands to run perfectly like ssh -i and chmod, happy coding my friends.
24:05 Hi Abhishek Sir, I want to add one thing for the beginner-viewers. The default disk selected might incur some costs to you. So, make sure that you go ahead and choose the one with the tag (free services eligible). it will be 64 GB in most of the cases.

hello @sarthashrivastava-jc2oe you can connect to your instance via ssh, all you need is the instance ip and your vm username with your public key.

could you please guide me. it was not enabling to select b series.
i successfully accessed my virtual machine using RDP, however while doing same through gitbash, getting an error of connection refused, even though credential are correct - sss username@ip-address (used the general terminology for security reasons), does anyone know a workaround for this problem. I am not able to figure out this.
For anybody facing issues accessing the port address even after adding new rule just need to restart the VM from the Microsoft Azure platform after it is restarted successfully just try to again check for running jenkins in the terminal you will see the running port address 8080 and the address now will be accessible as well, you're welcome.

Brother I am getting issues from 27:20 since I don't have any knowledge of bash.. I had installed bash on my windows couple of months ago.. When I am trying the same code or script that you are trying then it is showing me error so from this 27 th minute I was distracted... Rest before this I understood every thing that you taught but now really finding it difficult brother.. Can you help me in this... I found ur video very understandable but now when I want to create a virtual machine and select the size I am not able to see the option of Bs series (whose service is freely available), i even tried to change the region and check whether the B series is available in any other region but it is not even showing in other regions also , could you pls provide me a solution for this as selecting other sizes would cost me

May be you hit the maximum number of ips quota. If you are on free trail. Delete the resources and try again.
If not, there will be an option for enabling the public ip while creating, you might have disabled that.
I tried through azure student account , but unable to select VM size category - as per in your video selected module
In auto scaling vm’s are created with same configuration as parent Vm?
