    Great video..! Built an air handler from scratch is awesome.
    Using HVAC technology. Most apartment/condo style buildings have these air handlers
    if they are on a chiller and boiler system. I have a few questions and
    suggestions. I am not a pro HVAC person but have work in IT field sooo here
    goes. In this video the battery is glued down so to make it easier I would try
    and create a permanent clip on that would allow the battery to be easily swapped
    out like most battery powered devises. Maybe even look into a solar input. This
    system would be awesome on a boat or tent. Placing ice in the system is fine
    but if you plan on a running this system all night what if the ice melt this
    would turn into pumping out room temperature air. Not sure how you could keep
    the ice colder longer other then somehow configure the system as built to fit
    over a small cooler. As this is setup I can see doing this to a small cooler
    you can probably pick up cheap at a garage sale or something to conduct this
    project. The bigger picture would be to
    have very cold water to be the source that the fan pulls from. Well this might
    be another project and I wish you all well.

    Great concept though the only thing I would do a touch differently is a 9-volt holder so once that one dies out it would be a simple replacement other then that I'm so going to try making one :D New Mexico heat is brutal!!

    Nice idea, but there's one problem: this is a swamp cooler, not an air conditioner. The difference? The swamp cooler won't cool the air effectively if the humidity gets above (approximately) 50%. Other than that....good job!

      ***** Yes, of course!
      But the conditioner is necessary for maintenance of the atmosphere in which it is possible to live and work quietly. And here it is regularly necessary to be interrupted and run to the refrigerator ☺
      Generally, there is a lot of excess vanity.
      But the piece has turned out witty, certainly!

    • @Seidowas
      @Seidowas Před 8 lety

      dumb question, when you look at the fan you see the air direction is inside the box, so it takes the hot air to get in and let fresh air comming out the holes

    • @motasimfaiyaz2974
      @motasimfaiyaz2974 Před 8 lety

      OPUS - Seidowas et Nekzothe are u sure?
      Because if the air goes in through the fan, can it make and find it's way out through the ice chunks??

    • @Seidowas
      @Seidowas Před 8 lety +1

      ofc, its make a Positive pressure, so the air is trying to get out by all the way, so its goes everywhere (in the ice chunks ) and find the exit ( the 4 white hole stuff ^^ )

    • @Seidowas
      @Seidowas Před 8 lety +1

      same stuff for dust in PC desktop ( Positive pressur is when you are a lot of intake fans but no exhaust and the negative pressure is the opposite ^^ )

      i was thinking about replacing the container and ice by a sealed container filled of cold water, make a tube travelling through water, a fan attached on one end of tube, and another end is open to air, so air goes into the tube and cooled by water, then released by another end
