Looks great man! The lighting in there from the clear plastic up top is awesome! Thanks for the plug, and the confidence in continuing the Legacy of the Morgan's. #Humbled. Talk soon bro!
The feed I currently use is a commercially made pellet mixed with corn, oats, sunflower seeds, and every so often I throw in oyster shell and grit. I generally feed and water once a day. On the water if it is hot we'll switch the water out twice a day and during winter we actually prefer to rely on fresh fallen snow or soaked feed as the water bowls freeze quickly up here and there's no good way to heat that many water bowls.
Do you prefer the pine shaving bedding over other bedding? I.E. straw, hay, wood chips, leaves? I personally use whatever. Yes, chickens are much more hardy then what they are even given credit for, even my little serama bantams do great outdoors here in PA and we have plenty of snow here.
I prefer pine bedding cause it is easier to clean out, has an insulation factor due to the air when it is fluffed up, and I also use corn stalk bales. straw and hay mat down too quickly and are more work to muck out of the pens.
What vaccinations do you do? I have been having problems with Newcastle and coryza outbreaks/infection in my Aseel birds and wanted to know if I should vaccinate, if so what vaccines should be used for Newcastle and coryza?
I personally don't do vaccines but will treat with medication when needed. If you are in an area where those diseases are prevalent then I would recommend vaccination.

Any time!
Damn man those are some tough chickens. Can you talk about what you feed, how many tines, water, etc? Nice set up

@@ChickenWired ok thanks man
Wonderful, thanks for sharing. I enjoyed seeing all of the birds. I bet that they are really enjoying the new building. Take care and stay warm.
Many thanks
The shed looks amazing.. Congrats on getting that roof on! I feel bad now about complaining that it was cold here at 9° lol.
Thank you!
What is a good in depth book on chicken genetics?
Makes me want to go build more chicken pens. I actually need to since I have a couple hens sitting.
Looking good man.

No shit you should vaccinate. But it's going to stay around unless you clean up and proper bio security.
